Show Highlight:

Who would you like to see waterboarded?

On Today's Program

Fred Thompson

It's been a bizarre primary season, with the momentum shifting between several different candidates. Could South Carolina shift the momentum towards Senator Fred Thompson? He's gaining in the polls and talks to Glenn about the race, where he stands, and what he thinks his chances of winning are. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).

Waterboarding

During a conversation about John McCain in which Glenn was pointing out all of the issues McCain is wrong on, Glenn brought up waterboarding. McCain says it's torture. Glenn doesn't think so. Glenn then wondered where we could find someone to try this waterboarding thing out so we could determine once and for all if it's really torture. Take this poll to nominate the person to be waterboarded from the Glenn Beck Program who you feel is best suited to be subject to something usually saved for terrorists. (Insiders listen here).

Jonah Goldberg

Glenn talked to the author of his latest 'must read' book (Liberal Facism) and talked about how the people of the Soviet Union after McCarthy didn't just disappear. Glenn thinks they are still around and just calling themselves something different: Progressives. He was going possibly publish something on the topic but Jonah beat him to it with Liberal Fascism. Take a look at their interesting conversation here. (Insiders listen here).

Pelosi's big Change

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi came into Washington D.C. promising big change. Unfortunately for Democrats she hasn't been able to get much done on the policy front. But it's not all bad news for the first female speaker of the house, because she has made some changes---in the kitchen. She has replaced processed cheese with Brie, Jell-O has now been replaced with raspberry kiwi tarts. Good to see she's doing the people's work. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).
