The Mayor of Toledo, Ohio last Friday was the only one in town who hadn't heard the United States Marines were coming to do some training exercises in the downtown area. When he finally heard the news, he reacted in about the worst way possible. He kicked the Marines out of the city because he didn't want them to 'cause fear'. Parent of the Year
More nominations are in for the Glenn Beck Parent of the Year contest---and there are some major contenders this month. From a Mom who left her three year old son at a busy mall and didn't go back, to Bobby Cutts--the former cop who 'accidentally' karate chopped his pregnant girlfriend and 'accidentally' wrapped her dead body in a blanket and 'accidentally' drove to the middle of nowhere and 'accidentally' disposed of the body. It's going to be a tough choice, especially with the Oscar worthy (note: heavy sarcasm) performance by Cutts on the stand yesterday. Read an excerpt of the nominations. And last but not least, some excited Obama supporters in the Houston, TX area opened a volunteer office for the Senator from Illinois just after Super Tuesday. That's neat and everything---but take a look at what the news segment about the office shows on the wall of the office. Very interesting indeed . . .
