With a democratic president (and a democratic congress) as a strong possibility for January 2009, it's the prudent thing to take a look at what they want to do. The only bad thing about this process is it's kind of depressing---since all of the policies look a lot like socialism and/or communism. Pinhead Progressive
Lori called herself a 'pinhead progressive' but she actually sounded like she tried to get different sources for news and read up on current events. Despite all of that, her attempt to sway Glenn to socialism came up short because Glenn presented her with something most progressives like to ignore: the facts. Lori's last comment is absolutely priceless---Glenn couldn't have said it better himself. (Insiders listen here).
Allen Brothers Cake
Glenn's staff had a surprise birthday dinner party for him last night in New York City, and it was capped off with a tremendous Great Grandma's Chocolate Cake from Allen Brothers. It's six layers. Yeah, it's awesome---try some!!
