Glenn had a horrible experience over the weekend---his teenage daughter told him she wanted to teach history---any history except U.S. history, that is. This brought Glenn to tears, because he has shared his love with country, and feels he has failed as a parent because of this. That led Stu to proclaim Glenn is a tortured soul, and despite all the money and fame he would 'never trade places' with Glenn. Glenn denied this accusation--then immediately delivered a vintage tortured soul-esque rant about being sick and tired of people telling him the way to fix things is bigger government. Glenn's Oscars experience
For the first time in years, Glenn didn't even bother to watch the Oscars. That's what he has a paid staff for---so they can sit through four hours of hell in case anything interesting happens. The most notable highlight? The Academy including our troops live from Baghdad to announce an Oscar---only to have the very next segment be about two anti-war films and an Abu Ghraib movie. Glenn sounds off on that and more from the morons in Hollywood.
