Al Gore’s worst nightmare

On Today’s Program

Al Gore’s worst nightmare

Despite what the mainstream media tells you, there are actually respected scientists who disagree with much of the fear mongering that many global warming advocates engage in. Glenn knows because he attended a conference filled with some of the best scientists in the land—but guess how many reporters attended the conference? One. Kudos to the New York Times for actually sending someone down the street to see what was going on. Glenn talked with several of the key players from the conference on today’s radio program including:

Lord Monckton: Former policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher during her years as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom who challenged Gore to a debate on global warming. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).

Paul Reiter: Professor of medical entomology at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France. He battled to get his name off of the infamous IPCC report because he didn’t agree with it. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).

John Coleman: Founder of the Weather Channel who says he’s ‘mad as hell’ about global warming fear mongering and he’s ‘not going to take it anymore’. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).

Bernanke said what?

Glenn’s been warning of economic troubles coming down the pike and when the Chairman of the Federal Reserve is encouraging banks to ‘rewrite loans’ for lesser amounts of money, that can’t be good. Glenn argues with producer Stu about the comments and the recession forecast. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).

Franklin on Poverty

If Ben Franklin were around today he’d certainly be labeled a hate monger. His theory on how to help people get out of poverty would not stand up to the PC police of today. The PC thing to do now is what Barack Obama does—tell them they can’t make it, and then promise you’ll give them the moon. If only more people thought like Ben Franklin did, there would certainly be less people dependent on the government. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).
