Glenn's Easter message

On Today's Program

Easter Essay

It's Good Friday, and on the Glenn Beck Program that means Glenn's famous 'Easter Essay' gets another spin. It's a stirring telling of the Easter story set to the music of Pink Floyd--truly an inspirational piece. Listen to it for free here.

Be Good to each other

Glenn took a break from the political cycle today, Good Friday, to talk about something that's not talked about much in today's media---things that are uniting. Glenn recently went to Disney to do some work for the Children's Miracle Network and was in awe of the overwhelming feeling of goodness that was present. He also tells the story of Virl Osmond, the oldest Osmond child, he was born deaf but managed to turn that difficulty in life into a huge positive for him and the family. It's amazing stuff. Easter meaning

On a personal level, Glenn's family has been going through some trying times in 2008. Glenn talks about recognizing the painful situations in life, just like Virl Osmond did, and turning them into a positive. Whether or not you are part of the Christian faith, Glenn believes you can find universal truths in the message. Using a personal experience, he tries to show you how. Read the transcript. 'typical white person'

Appearing on local sports station WIP in Philadelphia yesterday morning, Senator Barack Obama said that his grandmother wasn't a racist, but instead she was just a 'typical white person' who has a reaction to different people that's been 'bred'. Glenn is shocked because this is the candidate who is supposed to be the savior of the race issue. Wouldn't generalizing a person by saying they are a 'typical white person' be...racist? Of course, but the media will surely let this one slide. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).
