Wal-Mart got itself tangled up in a PR disaster after one of it's employees was in a serious car accident and suffered severe brain damage. Wal-Mart's insurance plan paid out $470,000 for medical expenses, but two years after Debbie Shank's accident she won a $1 million lawsuit against the trucking company involved in the crash. Wal-Mart's policy clearly says if a lawsuit is won in relation to the insurance pay out, they can recoup their money. That's what Wal-Mart did. But the story only gets worse. Read the transcript. One of Clinton's superdelegates predicts that Obama will win---not because of his great health care ideas or his great foreign policy experience or his great economic prowess. John McCain appeared on the Late Night Show with David Letterman, and he didn't exactly pander to the conservative audience. In fact, it pretty much sounded like he assumed there were no conservatives in the audience at all, or else he wouldn't have said anything close to what he said during the interview.
