Glenn to Big Oil: Thanks!

On Today's Program

Give me a Break!

Glenn is breaking out the duct tape because the old principles we used to live by are out the window. John Stossel has a story on tonights 20/20 on ABC in which two rich attorneys are suing a neighbor in their apartment because she smokes...in her own home. John talks about the small victories in tort reform in todays WSJ and he appeared on Glenn's radio program this morning to talk about all the madness. Read the transcript here, Insiders listen to the audio here.

Glenn to Big Oil: Thanks!

It's the type of opinion piece that you certainly don't see very often on CNN's website---one that actually says something positive about the big bad oil companies. Read about it by clicking this link to CNN's website and remember, by clicking this link you contribute to making eyes roll at CNN when Glenn's article is #1 most read.

Air car?

Last night on TV, Glenn talked about a car that supposedly runs on air. Here is more information on the car that's expected out in 2009 or 2010---ok, so it looks like it wouldn't fair so well in a crash with an SUV, but hey, if it helps us bid a fond 'uh buh-bye' to worrying about mid-east oil, bring it on. You can view the car here.

Flat Earther?

Even though this guest, Roy Spencer, is a distinguished former NASA scientist, Al Gore says people like him are like 'flat Eathers' or 'people who don't believe we landed on the moon' because they are skeptical on global warming. In his new book Climate Confusion, Spencer dismantles the 'scientific consensus' that Gore often talks about. He joined Glenn today to talk about the shocking possibility that Gore is just a bit off on many of his facts. Read the transcript here, listen to the audio here.

Glenn re-played Ted Turner's amazing prediction that because of Global Warming, most people will be dead in 30-40 years and those still alive will be cannibals. We are going to hold Ted to that prediction when it doesn't happen---we've created this 'Countdown to Cannibalism' clock as a constant reminder of Turner's stupidity.

Glenn's chapter on Global Warming in his book, An Inconvenient Book, was reviewed by an actual scientist. Read the review here.

Tonight on TV

ABC News reported that Hillary Clinton told Bill Richardson that Barack Obama can't win. Senator Clinton denies this report but the question still remains: Can Obama win? Glenn examines this and more tonight at 7pm Eastern only on Headline News.

And don't forget to tune in to Stu's first big starring role on TV on 'Not Just Another Cable News Show' which airs 7pm, 9pm and midnight Eastern on Headline News. Watch the preview here.
