'Brilliant writer' Brian Sack joined Glenn today to talk about his new book, In the Event of My Untimely Demise, a witty book designed to leave his son everything he knows in the event he dies early. Here is the first part of the interview that just never seemed to end. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).
It's a highly recommended read by both Glenn and Stu, in fact, you can read Stu's review of the book here. See a note from the 'brilliant' (as Glenn says) Brian below.
Obama's problem
Senator Obama has to be frustrated today as the biggest problem in his campaign, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, just won't go away. Instead of just remaining silent and staying out of the way, he goes to the National Press Club and speaks to the press. It's very interesting because the Reverend seems very confident in his answers to press questions, although they are absolutely horrible answers. Check out Glenn's response to the Pastor's response regarding his relationship with Louis Farrakhan. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).
Doc 'X'
Glenn takes a moment to vent his frustration at the all new and supposedly improved Microsoft Office programs. They are neat and everything, except for one small little detail. On the program Word, for example, they gave it the much needed upgrade of moving every feature around so you can't find it. Plus, when you save the file, it's the all new 'docx' format, which doesn't work on anything else. Handy! Glenn rants about it here. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).
