Because this Disney ad ran in China, Glenn is giving Disney a little break in perhaps they didn't know about the ad before it ran. It's also being pulled immediately. The ad is for Disney underwear and the billboard is quite shocking. Not horsing around
Eight Belles had a rough day at the Kentucky Derby despite finishing in 2nd place. Just after crossing the finish line, she broke both of her ankles, which of course spells certain death for a horse---because that's what horse vets do---they put down injured horses. Eight Belles' trainer argued 'there was nothing else we could do'---really? Isn't this 2008 in America---can't we get some horse carts or something? Glenn searches for an explanation on why these horses can't get some Universal Horse Care or something to keep them alive. Is a broken ankle really just cause for putting them down? Glenn's getting a hybrid
Without the government telling him what to do, or shoving a mandate down his throat, Glenn is getting a hybrid. What motivated the purchase--was it concern over global warming? Nope. Obama's curious timing
Sen. Barack Obama is moving away from the Rev. Jeremiah Wright so fast he may claim to be an atheist by next weekend. The ongoing sprint from such a polarizing figure is far from a surprise, it's just the timing of it that is so odd. Obama was sticking up for the guy a couple of weeks ago---why is he bailing now?
