Obama: 'Lay off my wife'

On Today's Program

Lay off my wife

Barack Obama tells the GOP to lay off his wife. Well, Barack, perhaps you should tell your wife to lay off the anti-American commentary. People tend not to enjoy those comments very much. So if she keeps spewing the hate, then she should be able to take the heat. Watch Barack warn anyone who dares comment on his wife's comments here. Insiders listen here to Glenn interview Obama's white advisor Honkey Whitesville.

MSNBC

Ed Gillespie, Counselor to the President, joined the program today to talk about the letter he sent to the President of NBC news. Usually, when a beat reporter gets a sit down with the President they air as much of the interview as possible, but in this case it turned into a hack-job. Not just in length, but in meaning as well---they tried to make the President look like he agreed with Engel's ridiculous question, when in fact he totally rejected the notion. Read the transcript of the interview here, Insiders listen here.

Cap & Trade

Happy 30th birthday wishes went out today to Stu's wife Lisa---who according to Stu is sort of taking this birthday a little tough. Glenn proved that he is indeed the worst friend a man could have, trying to explain the cap & trade debacle that politicians want to institute by saying that Stu has to cap and trade his wife. This is very uncomfortable radio, so Insiders listen here at your own risk.

The List

A new global warming petition is gaining momentum with over 31,000 signatures and 9,000 of those from scientists with PhDs. Despite the often mentioned "scientific consensus" these scientists, and other concerned supporters, have signed the petition urging the government NOT to adopt the Kyoto treaty, and stating that increases in CO2 levels may even be beneficial to the planet.

So, how big is the list? Well, Al Gore won't have enough time to discredit them all . . . Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).

Nick of Time

Glenn loves Nick of Time..."It's hard to find books for boys... Nick of Time mixes a sense of honor with a story your son will not be able to put down...fantastic! Time travel, Nazis, pirates, spies--it's got everything. Its values are unashamed...finally, a book where boys can be boys...it's tremendous." Buy it here.
