Big oil was on the Hill yesterday and the questions Democrats asked reeked of McCarthy. Chuck Schumer was one of the worst, demanding the CEOs explain why they aren't giving more money to the people in Burma (even though that company had given 50% of what the U.S. Government has so far). Dick Durbin took the rhetoric a step further, demanding they explain why oil CEOs get paid so much money. Perhaps it's because Exxon is the biggest corporation in the world? Just saying. Stu demands Glenn address what happened on the TV show last night in which Glenn did something he had not done in over 20 years. Smoke a cigarette. Glenn's wife, Tania, called Glenn out on it and said 'so a comedy smoke' is ok? Perhaps the worst part of it was Glenn's excuse he gave after the 'it's for comedy' excuse didn't work out. Ever the opportunist, Glenn decided to blame the guest who was on with him at the time, Ben Stein, for the smoking episode. Unfortunately for Glenn, Stein was listening to the radio show and was able to defend himself. After they talked about how they ate burgers and smoked on TV, they actually got into some real issues. With many people not fully on board with Senator McCain, could this be the vote for many conservatives?
