Political opportunists (pretty much everyone in Washington DC) have jumped at the chance to vilify big oil and the 'obscene' profits that they make. But, as you have likely not heard anywhere in the media, big oil is far from making 'obscene' profit margins. Perhaps sensing that our lives are going to be very different, very soon (Jan 09 ish?), Glenn called his best friend Pat Gray (KSEV, Houston) to vent about why people aren't listening to Obama (when he actually says something other than 'change'). Pat points out that Obama has said he, as President, will 'not allow you to go back as your life as usual'...Not sure exactly what that means, but as Pat points out, he likes it here in America, he likes his life.
