Glenn returns from vacation, lets loose on Obama
On Today’s Program
Fannie and Freddie
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac—these two mortgage institutions run by private industry but consulted by the federal government, hold 50% of the mortgages in this country—$11 trillion (for perspective, the federal deficit is $9 trillion). The federal government yesterday made it official–they are going to back all of these bad loans. Well that’s just fantastic—more government control over private institutions! Glenn lays out just how horrible another bailout is for the country. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).
Obama’s Flip-Flops
Normally, a headline like that from the Obama-loving media would mean this was an article about which flip-flop sandals he prefers to wear. But, being the racist program that we are, this is a segment in which Glenn and Stu run down the list of political flip flops that Obama has had in the short amount of time he’s been in the limelight. There were so many that Glenn had to create the ‘Obama flip-flop center’ from which Stu is reporting live. Read the transcript. (Insiders listen here).
Hypothetical Poll
Out of morbid curiosity we’d like to conduct the following poll. Considering most conservatives are in a state of mourning over the two candidates left in the race—what would you do if there was a third candidate, and his name was George W. Bush? Who would you vote for, Obama and his naïve socialist policies or McCain and his liberal tendencies? Or more of that evil war monger George W. Bush? Take the poll here.
