This week the Democratic party will attempt to hold its first convention that is totally green. They will talk about recycling, buying carbon offsets, and even serve multi-colored foods for some reason.
What's the problem with their going green? Well, the Democrats know all of these things are pointless gestures, but they're using them to try and convince voters that they love the earth more than Republicans. If this works they will put into place policies that will hurt our economy and cause real disaster--not the fraudulent type they constantly whine about. Read the transcript. Insiders listen here.
What can you to help? Take part in our carbon ONset program. We are asking you to make just a few small sacrifices to completely wipe out any potential energy savings the Democrats claim credit for. (By 'energy savings', we mean buying their way out of the energy they'll use by flying in tens of thousands of people to a city so they can announce Barack Obama as their candidate. Seems like most people already knew that, but I digress). Sign up for our carbon ONset program. Use more energy for mother nature. Do it for the earth (or more accurately, the people living on it.)
Why did Barack pick Biden?
We're told Joseph Biden brings the needed experience to Obama's campaign. Glenn goes through all of Biden's fabulous accomplishments and asks "Which one of these couldn't have Barack Obama done on his own?" And the really important question: "Why not just choose Jimmy Carter to be your VP?" Read the transcript. Insiders listen here.

Barack's campaign song interpreted
Speaking of bizzare choices, today Glenn took a look at the lyrics to Obama's campaign song and it's got him wondering -- is this a message or do they just like the melody? Vote here. Or if you have a different interpretation of the lyrics, send it to stu@glennbeck.com.
