Obama resorts to fear mongering

This is what hope looks like? Obama said today that we may not survive if we don’t pass the stimulus package. Sounds more like fear mongering to Glenn, but hey, who are we to question ‘the one?’ President Obama says it’s absolutely necessary to our nation’s survival, so Glenn re-looks at what’s in the stimulus package to see what we ‘have to pass’ in order to survive. Trashing the fridge

If you are getting rid of your refrigerator for the planet you are dumb as a box of rocks and you are probably an environmentalist. Rachel Muston, a 32-year-old information-technology worker for the Canadian government in Ottawa, took the plunge and is currently refrigerator-less and she is encouraging others to do the same in order to ‘go big’ for the environment. March to Socialism – Cap & Trade?

Even after winning the election, progressive liberals wouldn’t choose now to force a Cap & Trade (aka ‘spread the wealth’) system that taxes companies on the invisible gases they use, would they? That would cause businesses to go under and the economy to fall off even further than it has already—so of course liberals want to jam Cap & Trade down our throats! Mother of all snakes

In today’s spotlight on science Glenn takes a closer look at a recent discovery–by scientists–of a ridiculously large snake that ruled the ancient Amazonian rainforest for 2 million years before slithering into nonexistence.  The discovery of this snake, that scientists say was the size of a school bus (about 43 ft) and heavier than a Volkswagen Beetle, shed ‘new light’ on snake evolution, but also provides ‘telling insights’ into the climate.
