It’s a great day for anyone who has supported the cause of jailed border agents Nacho Ramos and Jose Compean. Both were released this morning from Federal prison – Nacho was released and reunited with his wife, Monica, and on the way to being reunited with their children. Great news all around – stay tuned to radio and TV as we look forward to talking to these two men (and their families) in the very near future.

Founder of Muslim TV network beheads wife

The founder of a TV network aimed at improving the image of Muslims in the United States didn’t help his cause after chopping his wife’s head off.  Bridges TV, (get it, building bridges) the station with the goal of improving the image of Muslims in the United States, is probably covering this event in a fair and balanced way. These were the guys on the front lines of shutting people down who said anything negative towards Muslims. Do they do more damage by ignoring the heads rolling on the floor than those who point out the bad ones? (Transcript, Insider Audio)

We Surround Them – Principle # 3 Honesty

I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday

Sounds easy enough, but do we follow this principle each day? Do we give in when the outside pressure gets tough? For example, would someone who believed in the dangers Al Gore speaks of with Global Warming – would that person fly a giant private jet around when not absolutely necessary? Today President Obama is flying out to Denver to sign the stimulus package on Air Force One – normally Glenn wouldn’t have a problem with this, but when you are telling everyone to radically change the way they live and use energy, couldn’t he sign the bill at the White House? March to Socialism – socialist bikes

Remember the French bicycle program? Launched about a year and a half ago with the promise of saving taxpayers millions, while helping the Earth – it’s (no way!) about to crumble. The ‘higher than expected’ thefts and vandalism (nearly 100% of the bikes) has left the company who provided the bikes reeling from the repair costs – costs which the government has had to give bailout money towards. Socialism is neat!
