Is Glenn ruining your marriage?

On Today’s Program

A letter from Glenn to you

Glenn’s thoughts on everything from why he is ‘gloom and doom’ much of the time, to the status of the perfect storm and even Glenn’s plea to politicians. Glenn opens up and lets you in on why he is doing what he is doing. GLENN’S LETTER

Media Malpractice

John Ziegler, producer of the documentary Media Malpractice joined Glenn today to talk about the release of a film that shows the unfair treatment the media gave to Sarah Palin. As he makes the media rounds, the left leaning ‘news’ folks aren’t buying his theory. But it’s not that difficult a theory to prove because there is video evidence everywhere you turn.  (Transcript, Insider Audio)

Is Glenn ruining your marriage?

Glenn opened the line today for those struggling because they listen to and watch The Glenn Beck Program. Yes, Glenn has been trying to warn you about the tough times ahead. Yes, Glenn makes a lot of sense when he explains things. But has it been going well for the listeners who then take that message and try to explain it to their spouse? Callers who have been deemed ‘crazy’ because of their association with Glenn call in to vent. (Transcript, Insider Audio)

Al Gore oopsie

Al Gore has been using a stat to make his case for more government funding for green jobs. He is claiming that there are more jobs (currently) in the renewable energy sector than there are in the gas and coal industries. That’s quite a claim and the explanation for all the money he wants dumped into the green job sector. There’s just one little problem with his stat: it’s not true. They factor in everything imaginable to count as a ‘wind energy’ job, yet only count miners as all coal related jobs.  (Transcript, Insider Audio)

Al Gore oopsie #2

It was not a good week for Al Gore. First he gets busted making up jobs numbers, then his latest slide show hits some turbulent weather. Turns out, one of the slides he has been using to tell people that the Earth coming to an end isn’t really accurate at all. That’s so weird because the science was settled on all of this at one time—and now it’s not, so it’s almost like they were wrong or something. (Transcript, Insider Audio).

We Surround Them – Value #1 Honesty

Rev. Fancis Guinan, 66 was just found guilty on charges that he embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from the church. Obviously, the Reverend wasn’t being completely honest with his congregation as he jetted off on hot vacations to Vegas and elsewhere. Maybe the temptation was too much or maybe he just learned from his predecessor, the Rev. John Skehan, 81, who had a 40 year run of embezzling from the church that netted him millions of dollars. Guinan testified that he believed he was allowed to spend $50,000 on any one item without having to explain it. His attorney says that the diocese own rules ‘gave the priest the unlimited discretion, without defining it, without restricting it, as to how you spend’ the church’s money. Rev. Guinan clearly convinced himself that he wasn’t doing anything wrong. He wasn’t being honest with himself. Maybe you aren’t embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from work — and clearly if you lived by the value of ho nesty you wouldn’t do that. But if he can convince himself on that—you probably have convinced yourself on something smaller. Is there anything you aren’t being completely 100% honest about? Read the story here.
