Bill Maher: Conservatives ‘made’ McVeigh do it

Bill Maher, host of the really crappy Real Time talk show, made the claim that Glenn is increasing the odds that someone attacks President Obama because, after all, it was hate speech like Glenn’s that “made” Timothy McVeigh blow up the federal building in Oklahoma City. This is especially ironic commentary coming from the guy who himself recently said “if Dick Cheney were dead, more people would live.” Glenn plays the audio from Maher and his diverse panel that consisted of Keith Olbermann, a New York Times writer, the card carrying socialist Senator Bernie Sanders, and a Hollywood activist/actress.  ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

Another sign you are in a militia: Congressman Paul

Glenn talked today with the apparent leader of the militia, Congressman Ron Paul. According to a state police report in Missouri, if you have a Ron Paul bumper sticker on your car, you could be in one of them crazy militias! Congressman Paul admitted today to Glenn that he does in fact have a Ron Paul bumper sticker on his car. Ron Paul with a Ron Paul bumper sticker? Remember when the Obama administration kind of stuck that “down payment” on Universal Healthcare in the stimulus package? You know, the $634 billion of your money. Forget about debating Universal Healthcare — we are way past that — isn’t it funny that no one really knows how we plan on paying for that? Science! – Battling the arctic chill…to save the ice

The spotlight on science today features an article that covered the brave scientists who are “risking their lives” in the freezing arctic chill…in order to try and save the ice caps from melting. Hmm — so braving the deadly Arctic chill….to save the ice from melting, that can’t be right. Let’s say it again a little differently and maybe it will make sense: Braving temperatures 40 degrees below zero to stop the hunks of ice melting away and destroying the Earth.
