Garofalo ruining '24'

Janeane Garofalo made an appearance on Countdown with Keith Olbermann recently in which she claimed that the only reason hundreds of thousands of people attended Tea Parties was racism. Yup, you attended a protest because you can't stand the fact that there is a black man in office. 'They don't know history' she said of Tea Party goers, adding 'it's straight up racism.'  Janeane had a different take on protests in 2003 on “Countdown,” specifically complaining about how protestors were attacked with 'unfair' and 'anti-intellectual' comments. Hmmm, you mean like saying all Tea Party protestors are racist? Thanks for doing your best to ruin 24, Janeane. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

More proof lib policies fail

Oregon thought it would be a good idea to tie minimum wage with inflation -- the result has not been so hot for the state. As the job situation worsens, employers are being forced to pay higher and higher minimum wages. It just went up again 45 cents to $8.40 per hour and has many business owners complaining it's causing the 12.1% unemployment rate in Oregon. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

This book is the first-ever release of the document that guided Reagan to unprecedented success in his first six months in office and the years that followed. How small is $100 million?

The administration is trying to make it sound like a huge budget cut, while you don't have to be a mathematician to see this is chump change. If a family that made $100,000 were faced with a budget gap of $34,000 -- the family would have to cut $3 a year to equal the Obama cuts. Press Secretary Robert Gibbs tried to build up how big of a cut this was with the standard '$100 million is a lot where I come from' line, until Jake Tapper interjected by pointing out Gibbs himself just a couple of weeks ago said that $8 billion in earmarks is a miniscule amount. How do government officials get away with such blatant spin, and how do they know they will get away with it? Glenn explains. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

>>Earth Day is tomorrow! Celebrate by cutting down a tree with a chainsaw or leaving your lights on while you are gone or anything else that would hack off an environmentalist --- and tune in to Glenn on radio tomorrow to celebrate the most useless day of the year.

Tonight on TV:  The government is warning Americans to brace for massive 'TARP' fraud -- who woulda seen that one coming -- don't miss it tonight at 5pm only on The Fox News Channel!
