Obama advisor sleeps through meeting
One of Obama's top economic advisors, Larry Summers, fell asleep during a meeting on credit card companies. Must be tough to stay awake when all the meetings are the same -- new day, new industry to socialize. Not sure how Larry could be tired -- it's not like he's up all night thinking of new inventive economic strategies. All they ever do is 'how much does that cost? Ok sure, spend it. Don't have it? Ok sure, print it then spend it.' Glenn surprisingly defends the sleeping episode by Summers, saying it's happened to him, and Glenn accuses Stu of not working hard enough because he is able to stay awake at work. Cancer is probably shaking in its boots now -- imagine the research money that will be raised using the prospect of seeing a pasty white, doughy skunk haired man sweat through four outfits in three hours while he unloads an insanity laced verbal therapy session. That's why Glenn immediately decided to sweeten the pot and convince Tania to make some of her fantastic lasagna for the high bidder. Pelosi caught in a pickle
Speaker Pelosi and the left have been having a field day trying to drum up support to try former Bush administration officials on allegations they advocated the torture of terrorists and terror suspects. Pelosi claims she didn't know about any of the torturing -- only one little problem: that's not true. Despite her claims that she didn't know about it, in 2002 she was briefed on the practice and made no complaint about it. Glenn talks about the ridiculous nature of her defense, which is basically 'they told me they had legal opinions that they could do it -- but I didn't know they did it.' Are you that stupid, Nancy? Obama's Earth Day footprint
Yes, we are supposed to check our tires and make all kinds of sacrifices in our daily lives because of the dire climate catastrophe headed our way --- but apparently the politicians who are pushing this nonsense don't have to do the same.
