"You know, there are things that Homeland Security has said do because we are due for a pandemic. All you have to do is be prepared and then that panic goes away. But so many people, they call you crazy for saying, "Oh, look at you, you are just trying to hype everything up and get..." no, just trying to tell everybody be prepared because then when you are prepared, you don't have to worry about it." -- Glenn Beck

Gore graces Congress with holy presence
The prophet, Al Gore, stopped by Congress to try and scare everyone into passing Cap ‘n Trade -- which is nothing more than a giant tax scheme that will do nothing to solve global warming. Even Rep. John Dingell (D-MI) says that Cap ‘n Trade is nothing but a huge tax, which certainly couldn't have pleased Gore. The left knows that if the public understands that this is just another tax that will make energy prices skyrocket the plan is 'toast' --- which is exactly why there is a mad scramble to pass it. Your government hard at work
Look at this amazing picture of a jumbo jet being escorted by fighter jets over New York City. Not the site that people want to see in the skies over Manhattan. Buildings were evacuated and people understandably were panicking, but no worries, it was our wonderful government just having a 'photo-op.' Didn't cross your mind to give the public a heads up on this one? Below is the news alert from the Wall Street Journal:
“A low-flying commercial-size jet flew low over the Hudson River and circled several times around 10 a.m., causing some evacuations of office buildings in Lower Manhattan and Jersey City, N.J.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Jim Peters said the Defense Department is conducting a photo op that involves deploying two F-16s and escorting a Boeing 747 in the vicinity of Lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.
Mr. Peters says the maneuver was not an emergency and was coordinated in advance with the FAA and state and local officials. ‘They'll do two or three spins ... and be done by 10:30,’ Mr. Peters said.”
