As America flails leftward, EU heads right

On Today’s Program

Pay for grades?

In New York City they are paying students for attending school and making good grades--initially kind of sounds like nonsense but Stu argues that it's kind of like capitalism--being rewarded for doing well. So is this a capitalist or socialist idea? Stu and Glenn debate NYC's scheme to keep kids in school. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

EU moving...right?

Of course, moving to the right in the EU is about the same as Fidel Castro moving in line with Michael Moore. British MP, Daniel Hannan, explains exactly what this trend means. Are the Europeans finally seeing that the socialist policies are not working? Or are they just voting for change because things aren't going well economically at the moment. Glenn talks with our favorite conservative from the UK on today’s program. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

>>Simulcast Encore: Did you miss the movie theater simulcast last week of Glenn’s Common Sense Comedy tour? Don’t worry, there will be an encore screening this Thursday, June 11 in select movie theaters. Get your tickets here.

March to Socialism - 9.4%

Remember when President Obama told us we had to pass the stimulus or America wouldn't make it? Remember when President Obama said Americans would start being helped by the stimulus on April 1st? Remember when our unemployment wasn't out of control? Glenn looks at the latest unemployment numbers and the promises dished out at the start of the stimulus. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

>>Let's lose more jobs! As if the economy isn't struggling enough, President Obama wants to jam a climate bill down our throats that as they have already proved in Spain, will make things worse. How much worse? Glenn explains in the latest Beck Talks video.

More unsettled settled science

Since Al Gore's hockey stick charts, you've been told that you are an evil person unless you carpool to work, drive a hybrid, take mass transit and so on. Well, scientists are now saying that (wait for it) taking mass transit may not be so hot for the environment after scientists realized they left out some factors in the calculations. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

Progressivism = cancer

It's what Glenn says is killing our country: Progressivism. For over 100 years, Progressivism has been insidiously woven into American culture and if you’re like us, you want to put the brakes on all this ‘progress.’ In the next issue of Glenn Beck’s Fusion Magazine we call on experts like Jonah Goldberg, R.J. Pestritto, Bradley Watson and Matthew Spalding to explain not only how Progressives have steered us away from our founding values but what we can do to return the Constitution to its rightful glory. This extended issue of Fusion is a must read for anyone concerned with the future of America (or anyone who wants to teach their Liberal friends a thing or two).   Click here to learn more.

Tonight on TV >> Governor Sanford refused the stimulus money -- but now the government is forcing him to take it. Glenn talks with Gov Sanford about his options tonight at 5pm eastern only on The Fox News Channel.
