Palin eviscerates Letterman

After Letterman made crude sexual jokes about Palin looking like a ‘slutty flight attendant’ and her 14 year old daughter getting knocked up by Alex Rodriguez, Sarah Palin fought back — and she is absolutely destroying the lame late night host. To demonstrate their seething hatred for Palin, many in the mainstream media are still trying to find the negative for Palin in this spat. Olbermann called her a ‘delusional maniac’ and Yahoo had this headline  running all day calling her solid interview with Matt Lauer ‘awkward’ — but all in all it’s a fairly universal decision for Palin. Even Joy Behar and Barbara Walters took Palin’s side on the matter today on The View. Glenn talks about how Palin is getting the best of it with Letterman. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

Glenn on 20/20 a ratings hit

Thanks for watching Glenn on 20/20, as it rated ABC’s #1 show for the night and #2 overall (behind the Stanley Cup Finals)! Glenn happily accepts all the credit for the ratings, despite American Idol runner up Adam Lambert also being a guest because honestly, who didn’t know he was gay?  Watch the interview HERE.

It’s us vs. them

More typical political behavior coming from Mr. Change himself, President Barack Obama. He does something the President cannot do — fire an Inspector General of Americorps without giving 30 days notice or giving Congress the details as to why. To make matters worse, it appears as if President Obama fired the IG because he was probing some possible fraud with one of Obama’s close friends, Kevin Johnson. Eye on the Stimulus – light sensors

Glenn is keeping a close watch on the Stimulus, and the latest fraudulent claim coming from the government is that $109.5 million went to the refurbishing of a single VA Hospital in New York. In actuality it was $3 million — only $106.5 million off, which is not bad by the federal governments standards. Glenn goes over the amazing details of what the government is doing that will save our country. Get the duct tape out because unless you think changing light bulbs will rescue America, your head will explode. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

FUN QUOTES: Joe Biden tells Meet the Press that "everyone guessed wrong" on the impact of the stimulus, the economy was worse off than anyone thought. When Joe says ‘everyone’ he’s not quite accurate — there were a couple dissenters. Like the 176 House Republicans who voted ‘no’ to the stimulus (0 Republicans voted yes) and the 36 Senate Republicans who voted no to it (only 3 R’s voted yes…Collins, Snowe and ‘Republican’ Arlen Specter…who is now a Democrat). Other than that, EVERYONE thought the stimulus would work.
