Washington Post came out today and did a fluffy profile piece on Anita Dunn — the White House communications director in charge of watching the network and exposing what they call lies. The thing that stuck out to Glenn? The fact they mention it will be so sad to see her go…and exit the White House by end of year. Huh? How do they know that? ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

The truth on Obamacare

Finally, a politician willing to say what the actual truth is on Obama’s policies. Remember how Sarah Palin was ridiculed for that ‘death panel’ comment? Well, Robert Reich came out and said what will actually happen to old people under universal health: they’ll die. Cash for Kids

Cash for clunkers was such a rousing success (cough) the government wants to try something that has already been tried in the UK — cash for kids. Yes, the government wants to open up savings accounts and dump $500 into it for every baby born. Free money! What could possibly be wrong with this idea?
