Going Rogue – Sarah Palin style

Sarah Palin has officially hit the airwaves to promote her new book Going Rogue and her first stop was the Oprah show.  Oprah did not dive deep into policy issues, instead she talked about (shocker) her interview with Katie Couric, asking the question ‘Why didn’t you just name a paper?’. Funny, when Oprah interviewed Joe Biden she didn’t ask him about his interview with Couric. The one where he said FDR was on TV after the stock market crashed in 1929 — only problem is FDR wasn’t President, and TV wasn’t in use. Check out Glenn’s analysis. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

No follow up question?

Glenn saw a clip on CNBC last week where the guest started talking about the possibility of the dollar collapsing, a global currency and a global government being established to ‘save’ us from the crisis. The host must have been distracted because he expressed no shock, and his follow up was essentially ‘so how is the weather?’. The guest was Damon Vickers who joined Glenn on radio, mainly so Glenn could give him a proper follow up question. Obama disconnected?

Besides all the horrible policies that make no sense, there seems to be something else amiss about the President. On prompter he is a genius, smooth and steady.
