Obama delays speech…till 5pm?
President Obama delayed his speech yesterday on the recent security failures in the war on terror to an interesting time: 5pm eastern. It’s a very rare time to speak, and probably just a coincidence that he started at the same time Glenn’s show begins. Pat Gray filled in for Glenn on radio and talked about the odd timing, plus John McCain’s sudden awareness that Obama is leading America towards bankruptcy. Where was this, say, two years ago John? The jobs report for December was worse than expected, which should be expected because no matter what the report is, the economists always act surprised at the results. They never get it right. It doesn’t take a genius to realize Obama’s reckless spending and creation of more giant entitlement programs will not lead to jobs. He’s just putting a band-aid on a massive head wound. Leno rips NBC
Nothing like a good drama in prime time, and that’s exactly what happened when Jay Leno took on NBC with a pretty tough rant. He said if his show was cancelled that’d be fine, he would have time to travel, adding that ‘Fox is beautiful this time of year.’ Pat plays the clip of Leno absolutely ripping NBC. Memo to Gore: It’s REALLY cold out
It’s unclear if Al Gore still thinks the science on global warming is settled, considering the long term cooling trends and our current frigid temperatures around the country and the globe. But America is losing her patience with the environmentalists. First they are caught in emails lying about and exaggerating global warming. Then the products they tout are turning out to be really, really crappy – like the LED street lights that can’t melt snow, thus causing accidents because no one can see them.
