Media pathetically rushes to defend Reid’s ‘negro’ comments

On Today’s Program

Media 71% positive on Reid’s ‘negro’ comment

It was so predictable yet still so breathtaking at the same time. The media somehow found a way to defend Harry Reid after it was revealed that he thought Obama was electable because he was ‘light skinned’ and did not possess a ‘negro’ dialect. Those on the left will often peer deep into the hearts of comments from those on the right to deem them racist. BUT when one of their own is caught saying, essentially, that dark skinned people and those with ‘negro’ dialect (whatever that is) are unelectable, the comments are defended.  A report out shows that 71% of all reporting done on Reid’s racist comment are actually favorable towards Reid. Glenn looks at some of the amazing attempts to defend Reid on radio this morning. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

Stewart gets owned, hits Glenn

Jon Stewart reverted back to his old bread and butter last night: making fun of cable news hosts. He had a little fun with Glenn’s interview of Sarah Palin, which is a totally understandable move for Stewart to make considering the intellectual beating he took from former Deputy Attorney General John Yoo. Yoo is the guy liberals love to blame for expanding torture laws, and since they believe it’s horrible to keep a terrorist up past night night time they do not like Yoo much.  Watch Stewart get schooled, and then go back to his old tricks. Glenn comments on this and his placement on the ‘most influential’ list of conservatives. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

The Revolutionary Holocaust

How many times have you seen some college nit-wit wearing a Che t-shirt? How many times have you heard some idiot at the White House say something positive about Chairman Mao? How many times have you seen some Hollywood director make excuses for and portray people like Stalin, Che and others in a positive light? If you’ve seen it once then your answer should be ‘too much.’ Next week, Glenn Beck presents the hour long special ‘The Revolutionary Holocaust’ which looks at the real history of the most brutal dictators of all time, and the co-conspirator in all of their atrocities: Communism. The special airs next Friday, January 22nd. Starting Monday in this very newsletter there will be a special series dedicated to the true nature of communist regimes of the past. Read and watch along with your Che t-shirt wearing kid, and it won’t be long before they take the shirt off. View the TRAILER HERE

Who will get Kennedy’s seat?

Now that there is an actual race happening in the state that Glenn cannot pronounce correctly, Massachusetts, Democrats have suddenly lost the sense of urgency to refill Kennedy’s seat. Glenn talks about the efforts being made in stalling to find a replacement for Kennedy and how this fits in with the ‘ends justify the means’ mentality of our Constitution hating, modern day Progressives. What America can learn from Chile

Just 30 years ago Chile was one of the worst places on the planet to live. Corruption, bureaucracy and poverty all contributed to landing it the dubious distinction of being a third world country. Now, 30 years later, many countries like Chile are still suffering from poverty, corruption and bureaucratic nightmares — but not all of them. Chile just celebrated a huge milestone, which was an amazing achievement. How they did it should serve as a teaching moment for every single person in America today. Glenn explains in the latest Beck Talks video blog. WATCH it now!
