Air America loses bout with capitalism

It’s a sad day for the fives and tens of Americans that listened to the progressive radio network Air America. They declared bankruptcy in a press release that also explained why they folded. It was simple, “Our company cannot escape the laws of economics." That was a more diplomatic way of saying, “Our programming was complete crap, plus the DNC was done using us.” Glenn delivers a moving eulogy for the now (and always) lifeless network. The Green Calculator

One of the big arguments for ‘going green’ is the amazing savings one will reap from the given fantastical new green product. This claim, like many others in the green world, goes completely unchallenged. What happens when someone actually breaks out a calculator and does the math on the so-called projected savings? Specter insults Bachmann

Of course, there is no outcry when the left displays their sexism for all to see. In a joint interview on the Dom Giordano program (1210 WPHT Philadelphia) Senator Specter asked Michele Bachmann what solutions she had. When she said lower taxes to stimulate the economy rather than government spending, Specter called her answer ‘simplistic’ (translation: stupid). She tried to respond and that’s when Specter’s idiocy spilled out. Glenn plays the audio and responds on radio this morning. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

Extraordinary Measures

Glenn was able to see the new movie ‘Extraordinary Measures’ that is out this weekend in theaters starring Harrison Ford.  It’s based on an amazing true story about John Crowley, the owner of a biotech company who goes to incredible lengths to fund the medical research needed to save the lives of his children.  Yes, a Hollywood movie that doesn’t portray the owner of a company as evil!  Who knew it was possible?
