Remember that time Glenn wrecked his car?
With Glenn on vacation for the holidays, we’re counting down the top Glenn moments of 2012. What were this year’s highlights? Stay tuned to the Glenn Beck newsletter to find out!
The Beck family’s whirlwind 2012
With it being Christmas Eve and all, it seemed liked the appropriate time to look at some of the best moments that Glenn spent with his family in 2012. For the past few years, Glenn hasn’t been able to bring you as close to his family as he would have liked – but that all changed in 2012. For the first time ever, Glenn brought viewers into his home in Dallas, TX for a special night of music, stories, and fun as the Beck family celebrated Christmas with some of their closest friends and a few special guests. Glenn, Tania, and their daughter Cheyenne showed people how to make Glenn’s famous Coma Hot Chocolate - WARNING: Do not drink this while eating turkey or you will NEVER wake up! The Beck’s were joined by several music artists, including composer Clyde Bawden, Freddie Ashby, Michelle Moyer, and Donnie Osmond. They performed classic Christmas songs like “The First Noel”, “Joy to the World”, and more! But the best part of the show was definitely eight-year-old Raphe Beck’s production of the Christmas Story! There were kids of all ages, goats, donkeys, costumes and some pretty spectacular music. Raphe definitely inherited his dad’s ability to put on an amazing show; let’s just hope he’s able to avoid the whole “I-can’t-stop-eating-chocolate-during Christmas” genes.
2012 saw another milestone in the Beck family: Glenn’s daughter Hannah got married! In early October, the Beck family was surrounded by some of their closest friends and family in upstate New York for a small, beautiful ceremony in a renovated barn along Seneca Lake. The evening was full of music, dancing, fireworks, tears (come on, it’s Glenn!), but most of all, LOVE! Glenn even shared some of the wedding photos with the audience when he got back. Unfortunately for Glenn, not everything made it back in one piece. After the wedding, Glenn dropped the family off and parked the rental car at his cabin at the top of a very muddy hill. It didn’t take long for the car to start sliding – and quickly ROLLING – all the way to the bottom of the hill. He told the story and shared some of the photos on GlennBeck.com WATCH.
