Was President Obama planning to see Glenn Beck Live (aka Glenn Beck’s Elegant Eliminations Tour) this weekend? After all, The President was going to head to Virginia and Glenn is doing his show in Richmond. Unfortunately, it looks like it might be a bad PR move for the leader of the country to take a trip right in the middle of a budget crisis as a government shutdown looms. Glenn had the story on radio this morning.
“Tonight we're starting our comedy tour and we are in North Carolina tonight and then Florida tomorrow, Virginia -- you know what's really amazing is I'm going to actually be in Williamsburg this weekend, too. The reason why I say, too, is Barack Obama has decided to take another well-deserved vacation,” Glenn said.
“We must be starting a war or they are going to close down the government this weekend for sure because he's going on vacation again and that's the only time he takes vacation is when we're killing people, when we're tubing the economy,” Glenn joked.
“Or also when we're not killing people and when we're not tubing the economy. That's the other time he takes vacation. And then what it's Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday or someday that ends in Y, it has to end in Y,” Stu added.
Later in the program, Sarah broke the unfortunate news that the President may have to cancel his trip.
“Sarah, you heard this report today. Do you know what the details are on it? “ Stu said.
“On FOX and Friends they said that in Annapolis, he was supposed to go there today which was canceled and, further, his trip this weekend is postponed until further notice,” Sarah said.
“What would get in the way of the Williamsburg trip?” Pat asked.
