Loyal listeners may have noticed that Pat was out all last week, and happened to miss the news of UBL’s death and the subsequent celebration. Today he had his chance to join in, and in the process may have produced the best ringtone ever.
“Anything happen while I was gone last week?” Pat joked.
Pat said that while he was with his son in Orlando for the league World Series, he missed the President’s big speech. “In the morning as we're heading out to the opening ceremony for the series and all that, people in, you know, my group obviously knew that, you know, who I am and what I do. So what do you think? What do you think of the news? I'm like, oh, jeez, what happened?”
When his group told his about UBL’s death, Pat said, “Are you kidding me! The one week I'm not there? I never leave!”
“we had a lot of serious conversations about whether it's appropriate to celebrate the death of somebody like Osama Bin Laden,” Stu said.
Did Pat think it was ok to celebrate? Yes. Yes he did.
Pat launched into some celebration music, highlighted by lyrics like “Osama's dead, o, happy day. Shot in the head and lost at sea. In the fires of hell is where he'll be! Osama Bin Laden's dead!”
Other lyrics include “Osama's gone, SEALs killed him dead! Osama's dead! SEALs killed him dead! There's nothing left from him to dread! There's a bullet in his head!”
