For months, Glenn has been saying that May would be a troublesome month for Israel. Palestinian protesters rioted and clashed with Israeli security forces in Gaza and East Jerusalem yesterday. The protests were to mark the anniversary of the founding of Israel -- which many Palestinians equate to a "catastrophe." Reports indicate Iran may have a strong hand in the protests, which have seen protesters repeatedly trying to breach the border. A flotilla was blocked after they refused to communicate with Israel after breaching their water territory. Plus, the Hamas PM is now openly praying for an end to Israel. Glenn feels this is only the beginning -- why?
Glenn said that with the growing chaos in the Middle East, more and more politicians will be pushing for a "two state solution" in order to bring an end to the violence. The proposed solution would call for a return to the pre-1967 borders.
"The borders of 1967 with the Jaffa gates. The Jaffa gates mean that you will never be able to see the -- the garden tomb, the tomb the Catholics and the Greek Orthodox say was the tomb in Golgotha. You will not be able to see the nativity scene, the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the temple mount, the Wailing Wall. You'll not be able to see any of it, any of it if they go back to 1967 because that was the border in 1967. That's a problem. That's a real problem. Just ask the Taliban how well they maintained the giant Buddha statues."
"They have to create the conditions where Americans and the rest of the world will beg Israel to give up Jerusalem and they will stand alone, or will they?"
Glenn announced later on the radio show that he would be holding an event in Israel in August where he would be taking a stand for Israel. Read more about "Restoring Courage" here.
