On TV tonight, Glenn told the story of a James Shoaf, whose son was killed while on a mission a few days ago. Glenn had spoken with the man before when he called in to talk about "The 7" and how it was helping him change his life and he wanted to start his own business - he wanted to start a bar. His son was a major influence in his life and in his decision to open the business. "My listeners and viewers, I consider you family," Glenn said. When Glenn heard the news that the Shoaf's son had passed away, Glenn decided to call. Rather than encounter a man lamenting his loss - Glenn had one of the most inspiring phone calls of his life. Shoaf said that his son had made him a better person over the past three years - and that despite his financial struggles was going to make sure that his son's goal - buying their local church a van so they could help people - came true.
