Israeli PM Netanyahu has been touring the US speaking about Obama’s proposed path the Middle East peace, and he has encountered protests and opposition from the far left along the way.
For instance, during a speech at the AIPAC, members of Code Pink began protesting and ahouting at Netanyahu. Watch the video, courtesy of The Blaze, below:
“You get nothing done with interrupting a speech by screaming. It only makes you feel good about yourself,” Stu said.
“If you were trying, though, to provoke action, if you were trying to provoke anger, if you were trying to separate people even more and get them to not listen to each other and beat on each other, if you are trying to make things unmanageable, that's what you do,” Glenn said.
“It's not occupying land. It's Israeli land,” Pat said of the protestor’s claims that Israel is occupying Palestinian land. “Just like Texas is America.”
Later in the show, Glenn touched on Netanyahu’s appearance at a joint session of Congress. Again, during a speech, Netanyahu was shouted at.
“You can’t have real protests in the farcical parliaments of Tehran or Tripoli…this is real democracy”
And what was it Netanyahu was trying to say?
"The millions who poured into the streets of Tehran, Cairo, Benghazi, Damascus, they're not thinking about Israel. They're thinking of freedom. They're yearning for opportunity. They're yearning for hope for themselves and for their children. So it's time to stop blaming Israel for all the region's problems."
