Think Gadaffi style seems like a good idea? No? Well, then you must not be former congresswoman Cynthia McKinney! She thinks it will solve all our problems!
“ On a previous visit to Libya, I was able to learn about the green book. And the form of direct democracy that is advocated in the green book,” McKinney said.
“I spoke with Senator Mike Gravel who was a presidential candidate just like me in 2008 because he, too, is pushing a form of direct democracy for the United States.”
“The government is here, and the people of the United States are here. The situation in the United States is becoming more dire. Average, ordinary Americans. And the last thing we need to do is to spend money on death, destruction, and war. When we initially heard the assertion or the allegation that the Libyan government had employed black mercenaries, it sounded exactly like the kind of propaganda that we blacks in the United States are so well accustomed to.”
“ I don't remember them campaigning on that,” Pat said.
“I don't remember them mentioning the Libyan designed government in their campaign materials, no,” Stu added.
Glenn said “What the hell is wrong with us? Seriously. Where the hell is our backbone? Where is our backbone? I guess, I guess people feel exactly like I do that, you know, what are you going to do? What are you going to do? Are you going to stand up?”
“Can somebody explain to me why we are in Libya? I understand the Weather Underground reason. I understand to stretch our resources. I understand to get us into a quagmire over there. That doesn't even make sense what we're doing over there. Makes no sense whatsoever,” Glenn continued.
“We're wasting our blood, our treasure, our time for that? Let them kill each other.
