What did Glenn have to say about a union boss comparing Gov. Chris Christie to Adolph Hitler (full story here)? Let's just say he doesn't exactly see the comparison. Check out the remarks below and get Glenn's response in the clip above from radio.
" Think of this. You know, when you said his communication workers and the telephone, it is the telephone communications workers. It's the -- it's the way we communicate. This guy is the vice-president of all of the people that have control of our telephone communications. You now have an FBI that can eavesdrop, follow you, do anything at any time. You don't think that a guy like this is looking for a way to -- is willing to tap phones, to obstruct communications in a World War III? Do you see what side you're on? Every single communications union member, you should rise up and demand this man's resignation or you should stop paying your benefits," Glenn said.
"If I were on a podium and I had to speak and I heard that, I would have either got up and walked out, but I don't think I would have done that. I think I would have waited and then I would have gotten up and said, I regret my decision to stand on this stage and I'm hoping that everyone in this crowd is regretting their decision to come and listen to this and I am walking away because if that man remains on the stage, I cannot be a part of this and I would recommend that you would walk with me. Don't tell me about taking umbrage."
