Glenn has promised that GBTV will be home to programming you can’t get anywhere else – including cable – and he teased an upcoming documentary on radio this morning.
Glenn said that one place he went to visit today was a little town on the border of Gaza. He said that while a UN human rights inspector has said there were no issues – Glenn saw a different story. “I'm telling you that when you see this town, when you see the playgrounds, when you see what's going on in this town, you won't believe it. It is the worst Hell for children and families, anybody, humans. It's Hell.”
“We started going through the school. Now, this school is a bomb shelter. The glass is about three inches thick. It's bomb glass. The entire thing has been built -- I told you a few minutes ago that if the -- when you go outside to play, which the children do not. They've planted shrubbery and everything else so the kids can't play outside. But there is a basketball court outside, but on each corner of the basketball court, on all four corners, there are bomb shelters.”
“How do the children remain children? (The mayor) said they're all in trauma.”
The mayor told Glenn that when the UN inspector was investigating the school, the mayor could tell that she did not get the trauma that kids have experienced. To demonstrate, he slammed a class room door in the school, and “half of the children burst out in tears. They are so traumatized that a slamming door they thought was a bomb and half of the children broke into tears.”
“Now, I don't know about you, but I'd move out of that town. But not the Israelis. Because they know what happens when Jews leave a town. There comes a time when you say enough is enough. They've been chased out of every country, every town they've ever lived in,” Glenn explained.
“This is all financed by me and by you,” Glenn said of the documentary, which would showcase the town on GBTV. “I am not going for outside investors. Somebody in Israel said to me: ‘You're crazy, why aren't you getting outside investors?’ Because I don't want to be told what to do. I don't want to be told that's crazy, we're not going to do that. I'm not going to be told, well, you could lose some sponsors. I'm not being told any of those things. I'm putting up the investment. It's my money to lose. And it is you, if you don't like it, then cancel.”
