Glenn participated in what must have been the worst interview of all time - and he's no stranger to being blindsided by the media. Jeremy Maggs, a "journalist" in South Africa, gave Glenn what he promised would be a "normal" interview. Well, apparently the definition of normal in South Africa is even worse than it is in America.
"Jeremy Maggs, is he a popular guy? Is he liked? Yeah. Hated the guy," Glenn said.
"People we really trust here thought he was going to be, you know, pretty fair, right?" Pat asked.
Glenn said he knew it could be trouble, but went ahead and did it anyway.
"I've been with the best of the worst (interviewers)," Glenn said.
What were some of the questions he was asked?
Are you a right-wing nutter?
You're only a fear monger (note - that's not a question Jeremy).
You have a Messianic complex (again, not a question).
"There was not one question about, why are you in South Africa? Not one. Not a single question: Why are you in South Africa. Not a single question: Why were you just in Israel? Not one. The whole time it was, you're a racist, you are a rightwing fear monger, you are only greedy, you're just an entertainer," Glenn said.
"Good to know the global media is just as lazy as the American media ," Stu said.
"It's almost sad. Because they just don't know they're going to lose. They are using every bullet in their gun. They are using it all, and it's not going to work. In the end I might be dead and gone, but you lose in the end. The truth wins," Glenn said.
