Glenn warned on radio this morning that there isn't time to waste on another progressive candidate who's just offering more of the same - big spending, big government, and the candidates who try to out 'hug' the other.
“If you want to take care of people in need, then take care of people in need. And the best way to do it is not through the federal government,” Glenn said
“We have a responsibility to take care of people in need. We do,” Glenn declared. “Let's strengthen those institutions that do have that ability and spend money much more effectively to help those people.”
Glenn said that while he wasn’t looking to scare anyone, but that we have to be honest about the state of Social Security and not play into the political games. Glenn also said that he knew that those being honest and not playing games would be called “racists” and “hate mongers”.
Glenn also said that while there will be bogus fear mongering on one side, there will also be bogus compassion. Candidates will promise that they are “more huggable than the other party” and that their rivals “want to take hugs away”. (editor’s note: We’re pretty sure that’s Beck speak for Democrats want everyone to think they love everyone and just want to take care of you – whether you like it or not).
“Enforce the law,” Glenn told polticians. “I don't need any new (laws). Enforce the law. And let us, we the people hug all the children,” Glenn said.
