Once again, just when you thought Occupy protests couldn't get any worse, they do. Two shootings at separate Occupy events have left two people dead. One was an alleged self inflicted wound at Occupy Vermont, and the other was a murder at Occupy Oakland. Amazingly, a local reporter setting up for a live report caught the gunfire on tape -- and then the Occupiers, according to the report, tried to block cameras from recording what happened.
"Now, remember, these are the best people in the world. They are just like you. They're apple pie. They're Chevrolet. They're great and they are peaceful. Well, except for the shooting that happened now in Oakland," Glenn said.
A KTVU cameraman witnessed the man collapse in front of the Tully’s Coffee Shop at 14th Street and Broadway shortly before 5 p.m. KTVU reporter Janine de La Vega was in the area preparing to go live on the air when she said she heard several shots.
Emergency responders tried to resuscitate the victim, who was described as a black male, as he was being lifted into an ambulance.
The victim died shortly after, authorities said.
"Wow. What's wrong with that?" Glenn said.
Clearly, these are just harmless protesters. Just like the Tea Party. No different. Nope. Harmless.
