Glenn has spent a lot of time over the past few weeks exposing some of the education initiatives in states across the country that are indoctrinating kids into the radical progressive agenda. Today, Glenn discussed an issue tied into Common Core that many people aren't aware of: data mining.

"We cover many important stories and topics on this program, but I don't think any could be more important than what we are covering tonight: the progressive takeover of America's schools," Glenn said.

Glenn spent the opening minutes of the monologue reviewing the scary pieces of legislation that have allowed the government access to your information through education systems.

Glenn explained that in order for states to qualify for stimulus money, they had to agree to build such systems according to federally dictated standards. The 2009 Stimulus Bill included provisions encouraging states to develop data systems for collecting a large amount of information on public-school kids. Today, all 50 states either maintain or are capable of maintaining extensive databases on public-school students.

"Everyone, myself included, mocked the wasteful spending. It was easy. Millions of dollars on turtle tunnels, interactive dance software, ant research, etc. But it was almost too easy. What did we miss while everyone complained about the sidewalks to nowhere and studies on the effects of inequity among monkeys? Could it be Obama was rushing this not because he thought turtle tunnels would help the economy - but because it had other much more important goals he didn't want anyone to focus on?" Glenn asked.

"1,073 pages written by Van Jones and the Apollo Alliance. It was never about 'saving or creating' jobs. It was radical left agenda, period," he explained.

Many parents might think that the government needs their permission to gather the information to go into these databases, but that's actually not the case.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act used to protect the privacy of kids and a parents written consent was needed to release data. But in 2012, regulations were used to change the need to get parental consent. Now all the information the schools started collecting in 2009 can be shared among various federal agencies and without consent as long as whoever requests it is “conducting certain studies for or on behalf of the school”. According to the National Data Collection Model, the government should collect information on health-care history, family income and family voting status along with religious affiliation and extra curricular activity, and more.

Glenn also referenced a Department of Education Report that discusses student monitoring techniques using “functional magnetic resonance imaging” and “using cameras to judge facial expressions, an electronic seat that judges posture, a pressure-sensitive computer mouse and a biometric wrap on kids’ wrists.”

But what is the ultimate goal of the data mining? Glenn suggested that big corporations like GE and Microsoft were getting in bed with government in order to accomplish their goals, specifically using the data to nudge students into the jobs the state deems best for the future. He likened it to State Capitalisn, where a government run by a single party in control of labor, media, education, and banking joined by Big Business to further their mutual collective goal.

He laid out his theory on how government and business are colluding below:

Towards the end of the show, Glenn welcomed several guests to discuss the data mining taking place in schools and what you can do to stop it:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against four key states — Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania — directly in the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday. The case alleges the states unconstitutionally changed election rules, in part by bypassing state legislatures. Some locations were also accused of violating the equal protection clause.

On the radio program Tuesday, Glenn Beck broke down the details of the lawsuit and stressed the importance of restoring confidence in our election system.

"These [legal actions] may not change the outcome of the election at all, but everyone should be very focused on this," Glenn said. "Because ... once you corrupt the system, it's over. We have to have confidence in our system."

Leftists called Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R) a "monster" and "not a human being" over the weekend after he tweeted a photo of himself with a deer he'd apparently hunted and killed in South Texas.

Glenn Beck had a news flash for these virtue signaling lefties who lose it over the idea of a hunter actually hunting: "That's what we do in Texas."

So if you're a liberal from California or elsewhere, and Ted Cruz's deer photo drove you out of your mind, Glenn suggests that you don't move to Texas.

Should President Trump pardon himself and his family? Glenn Beck says yes

Reports claim that President Donald Trump may pardon himself and his family if Joe Biden takes the presidency. On the radio program Monday, Glenn Beck and producer Stu Burguiere discussed whether such use of the president's power to grant pardons is constitutional, and if so, is it the right thing to do.

"I'm 100% for it. I think what's happening with his family is despicable," Glenn stated.

Glenn went on to argue that preemptive pardons for President Trump's allies, family, and even himself, could cut off what might become an endless cycle of "political revenge," before it ever gets started.

"You don't want this to start, because then it doesn't end. It never ends," Glenn said of those who would seek political retribution against political rivals. "And they're doing it to send a clear message ... 'You will either play by our rules ... or we will destroy you.' This is the worst possible message to send."

Kevin Freeman, BlazeTV host of the "Economic War Room", joined Glenn Beck on the radio program this week to discuss what's going on at the The Fed. Former Federal Reserve chairwoman (and possibly our future Treasury Secretary) Janet Yellen said recently that the Treasury Department under Biden should focus on 'racial equity' — something Freeman said he believes is how Democrats plan to gain even more power. Freeman also talked about how the dollar could face a 30 percent decline soon. What does that mean for your life? Watch this clip to find out, plus Freeman's thoughts on the election results.
