During last night's debate, Donald Trump said something that terrified Glenn.
"This is truly terrifying. The most terrifying thing I have ever heard any presidential candidate ever say," Glenn said Friday on The Glenn Beck Program. "And if you blow this off, may God have mercy on your soul for what comes next."
During last night's GOP debate, Trump repeated that he would use the U.S. military to kill the families of terrorists.
"We are not those people," Glenn said. "That's Nazi Germany. That's China. That's Russia. That's Putin. We don't do that. It's against our laws. It's against the Geneva convention. It's against every law internationally. That is thuggery at its best."
Fox News moderator Brett Baier asked Trump about it during the debate.
"So what would you do as commander-in-chief if the U.S. military refused to carry out those orders?" asked Baier.
Trump addressed the question not once, but twice during the debate.
"They're not gonna refuse me. Believe me," Trump said the first time. And later, he said, "If I say do it, they're gonna do it. That's what leadership is all about."
"This is not America. That is not what we do. That is shameful to even think of that," Glenn said. "That's revenge and vengeance, and vengeance is mine saith the Lord."
