Ted Cruz took a stand for principles over party at the Republican National Convention. It was a brave and admirable choice --- but it came with a price.
At the end of his speech, his wife Heidi had to be removed from the convention floor as an angry crowd closed in on her, yelling and calling her names. In the days following his speech, Ted has likely faced soul-searching moments about his decision to stand and defend the Constitution he loves so much.
