Chuck Todd wrote me last week, asking me to come on Meet the Press. He wanted to take a different look at what is happening to America.
He also invited Michael Moore from the left and I went on after him.
I said no at first. I didn't want to be part of a roundtable where Moore and I were encouraged to fight over a politician.
Chuck feels like I do, that our country and (more importantly) our CIVILization is in danger of being lost or torn apart beyond repair.
I have given up on doing well, I need to concentrate on doing good.
I didn't know what Michael Moore was going to say, but I wanted to discuss what happens after this election.
MLK --- not Malcolm X --- is the choice before each of us.
We are so busy fighting with each other that we are in danger of losing more than our jobs or even our country.
We are losing each other and even our families. How many of us can't even talk with our parents, brothers, sisters or in-laws?
How high of a price are we willing to pay for the two parties most of us know are corrupt?
I hope I shared something of value.
