GLENN: Let me go to Mike who's listening to us in New York on Line 4. Hello, Mike, you sick twisted freak.
CALLER: Oh, Glenn, God bless you.
GLENN: What's happening, brother?
CALLER: And your staff behind the scenes, thank you.
GLENN: Thank you.
CALLER: My point is the left railed against Reagan and his trickle-down economics. I think they scoffed at it.
CALLER: But isn't the current idea of increasing everyone's taxes, collecting everyone's money and redistributing it, isn't that the version of trickle-down economics?
GLENN: It's trickle-down economics by force.
CALLER: Yes. With Reagan I decided where my money went. But with the progressives they feel that they know better where my money should be spent?
GLENN: Exactly right. Exactly right. Here's what people -- here's what I'd like to have a progressive explain, Mike. Right now if you look at, for instance, Greenwich, Connecticut which is, you know, this is a place where A-Rod, everybody lives that is just filthy, filthy rich, you know, 25, 50, $100 million homes and estates are in this area. There are now I think 125 homes in Greenwich, this one town just outside of New York that are worth over $5 million that are empty and for sale. 125. That is because the hedge funds and all of these people, they have lost all of their money. What is that going to do to the taxes there in Connecticut? How is Connecticut going to stand? How long -- you are about to see how trickle-down economics works. When these people go broke, how does it affect the rest of the country.
