Glenn Beck: Another Obama radical

GLENN: All right. So now we have from TheBlaze.com a new story that is another socialist, and I mean a hard core socialist that this president has involved in our illegal alien outreach program called We Can Help, to make sure that they get all the government services and all of the correct pay and everything else, even if you're here illegally. No, these seriously, no, that's great stuff. He has employed this woman what is her name? Dolores?

PAT: Huerta.

GLENN: Huerta. Dolores Huerta is a hard core socialist who is also and we have the videotape now up at TheBlaze.com of this woman saying, you know, Venezuela is great, they've got free healthcare, they're building factories where everybody has a right to a job. But she goes further than just saying how great Venezuela is. In our high schools this is her talking about America.

HUERTA: A lot isn't wrong as long as you use it for the people like Hugo Chavez is doing in Venezuela.

PAT: So what she said there was a lot isn't wrong, meaning a lot of money. It's not wrong as long as you use it like Hugo Chavez does.

GLENN: That sounds like Teddy Roosevelt.

PAT: Yeah.

GLENN: That's Teddy Roosevelt.

HUERTA: recently (inaudible), Hugo Chavez, and he is putting up cooperative factories for the people so that they can have work and the people there, the representatives, they are making shoes for the schoolchildren, uniforms for the schoolchildren, backpacks and T shirts. They have a cooperative farm where the people go and get food. The military can build houses for the people. And you know what? Right there by the factory they have a medical clinic and a dental clinic free.

PAT: Free.

HUERTA: Free for the people. They can go to a doctor, they can get their dentist, their medical free of charge. How are they paying for this? They have (inaudible) through their petro doctors. They have 20,000 Cuban doctors that have gone into Venezuela, with these neighborhoods

PAT: With their petro dollars?

STU: Oil money basically.

PAT: And they are doing so well.

STU: They are doing fantastically, yeah.

HUERTA: If factories and jobs, the people, the medical clinics and (inaudible).

GLENN: Because it's unconstitutional. I mean, other than the pesky Constitution, that's it.

PAT: And if you don't like that pesky Constitution and you love the way socialism works in Venezuela, nothing stops you, does it? From going down there and enjoying the fruits of that fabulous society?

GLENN: No.

PAT: I don't think so.

GLENN: No.

STU: And by the way, you can see this woman obviously on TheBlaze, you can see her doing the ad and everything. Or you can go to the Department of Labor website, slash wecanhelp. Dol.gov/wecanhelp and you will see the woman who was speaking that admirably about Venezuela and Hugo Chavez featured prominently on the website currently at this moment.

GLENN: Do a screen shot, everybody do a screen shot so you have it because it will be gone. By tomorrow it will be gone, I bet.

STU: There is more to this audio in which she gives a wonderful message about the political opposition here in America.

VOICE: Republicans hate Latinos, okay? Republicans hate Latinos.

PAT: And that was her little party shot, Republicans hate Latinos.

GLENN: Okay?

PAT: Okay?

GLENN: Do we have that? Republicans hate Latinos.

PAT: Wow, that is unconscionable.

STU: Again she is on the website right now, still being featured on this program, illegal immigrant

GLENN: You know what's really interesting, I hated Albert Pujols so much, I hate Latinos so much.

STU: Didn't see the hate

PAT: It was weird. You gave him an award.

STU: One of the I mean

GLENN: Oh, no, it was a hate award, wasn't it?

PAT: It was about

GLENN: Oh, crap, I meant to give him the hate award.

PAT: Oh, boy. Man.

GLENN: Shoot.

STU: Yeah, because he's helping out all these charities.

GLENN: And he's doing a good job and he's a man of honor and integrity and faith.

PAT: How about Ramos and Compean?

GLENN: No, I hated those guys.

PAT: You hated them? You were glad they were rotting in prison thanks to George W. Bush?

GLENN: They didn't get out, did they?

PAT: They did.

GLENN: Did everybody misinterpret my message?

PAT: I guess so.

STU: Yeah, you mistakenly fought for them to get released, which is weird.

GLENN: Well, you know what the deal is. I'm not a Republican.

PAT: Oh, there you go.

STU: So Republicans hate Latinos. That's it.

GLENN: But oh, wow.

PAT: Man.

STU: Is that unbelievable?

GLENN: That is.

STU: I mean, the whole program in and of itself should be a massive news story, which I never was. And now they are promoting it with an avowed socialist who's praising Hugo Chavez.

GLENN: In schools. And then telling schoolchildren that Republicans hate La Hispanics.

STU: Latinos.

PAT: Unreal.

STU: That is a gigantic story. Where is the media on that? Will they pick this up?

GLENN: No. No, they won't. No, they won't. That is why TheBlaze.com is here. I am so tired and you know what? Look. These media sources, these media sources are going to burn to the ground. And I don't mean literally. They are just going to, they are empty buildings. The New York Times and everything else, they are going to eventually have to be supported by the government. They are going to have to be. They will become Pravda. Because you are leaving them in droves. I'm pretty good at seeing the future. I'm not 100%. I'm pretty good at seeing over the horizon and seeing the direction that things are headed. Why do you think I'm doing all of the different mediums that I'm doing? Because, A, I don't know which one they are going to shut down first. I don't know which one's going to have their hand out and say, well, we have to have government subsidies. I will tell you that it's coming, that they are going to they'll shut down voices and they'll shut and they'll just coopt whole industries. So I don't know what's going to be left, but I will tell you this: The media has so discredited themselves. They have made everything so unbelievably laughable that it you're just, you're looking for a new place that has honor and integrity, that will actually tell you the truth. That's what we are trying to do with TheBlaze. And we're at just the very beginning of it. But I would that you would check it. You can find all of this audio and so much more in today's edition of TheBlaze at TheBlaze.com.

A new Pew Research Center report shows the death toll in the United States from COVID-19 is "heavily concentrated" in Democratic congressional districts.

According to the analysis, more than half of all COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. occurred in just 44 (approximately 10 percent of) congressional districts, and 41 of those 44 hardest-hit districts are represented by Democrats, while only three are represented by Republicans.

"A new Pew Research Center analysis of data on official reports of COVID-19 deaths, collected by the John Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering, finds that, as of last week, nearly a quarter of all the deaths in the United States attributed to the coronavirus have been in just 12 congressional districts – all located in New York City and represented by Democrats in Congress. Of the more than 92,000 Americans who had died of COVID-19 as of May 20 (the date that the data in this analysis was collected), nearly 75,000 were in Democratic congressional districts," Pew reported.

Filling in for Glenn Beck on the radio program this week, Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere argued that, while the coronavirus should never have been made into a partisan issue, the study certainly makes a strong statement in favor of GOP leadership.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) once predicted the coronavirus death rate would be between 4 and 5 percent, but they've just come out with a new report and those predictions have been adjusted significantly.

According to the CDC's latest data, the fatality rate among Americans showing COVID-19 symptoms is 0.4 percent. And an estimated 35 percent who are infected by the virus will never have any symptoms. Therefore, the CDC is now estimating COVID-19 kills less than 0.3 percent of people infected.

Filling in for Glenn Beck on the radio program this week, Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere recalled when the mainstream media went into overdrive, hammering President Donald Trump for predicting the final COVID-19 death rate would be "under one percent."

Looks like the president was right all along.

Michigan barber Karl Manke isn't a troublemaker. He's a law-abiding citizen who did everything possible to financially survive during the COVID-19 lockdown. pandemic. Eventually, he had no other option: he had to reopen his business in defiance of Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's stay-at-home orders.

In an interview on the "Glenn Beck Radio Program," Manke, 77, told Glenn, "I'm not backing down" despite Whitmer's seemingly vindictive attempts to shut down his business.

Shortly after reopening, Manke was ticketed for violating Whitmer's stay-at-home order and charged with a misdemeanor. When he still refused to close his doors, the governor's office went a step further and suspended his barber license.

"It's kind of a vindictive thing," said Manke. "I've become a worm in her brain ... and she is going full force, illegally, when legislatures told her that she was out of place and this was not her assignment, she decided to take it anyway."

On Thursday, the Shiawassee County Circuit Judge refused to issue a preliminary injunction against Manke. Read more on this update here.

Time after time, Americans have taken to the streets to defend our constitutional rights, whether it was our livelihood at stake -- or our lives. But, what was the point of all the civil rights movements that came before, if we're about to let the government take our rights away now?

On his Wednesday night special, Glenn Beck argued that Americans are tired of having our rights trampled by "tyrannical" leaders from state and local governments who are ignoring our unalienable rights during this pandemic.

"Our nanny state has gone too far. The men and women in office -- the ones closest to our communities, our towns, our cities -- are now taking advantage of our fear," Glenn said. "Like our brothers and sisters of the past, we need to start making the decisions that will put our destiny, and our children's destiny, back into our hands."

It took less than two months of the coronavirus tyranny to make America unrecognizable, but some Americans are fighting back, risking losing their jobs and businesses or even jail time, as they battle to take back our civil rights.

Here are just a few of their stories:

After New Jersey's Atilis Gym reopened in defiance of the governor's executive order, the Department of Health shut them down for "posing a threat to the public health." Co-owner Ian Smith says somebody sabotaged the gym's toilets with enire rolls of paper to create the public health "threat."

Oregon Salon owner, Lindsey Graham, was fined $14 thousand for reopening. She said she was visited by numerous government organizations, including Child Protective Services, in what she believes are bullying tactics straight from the governor's office.

77-year-old Michigan barber, Karl Manke, refused to close his shop even when facing arrest. "I couldn't go another 30 days without an income," he said. But when local police refused to arrest him, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's (D) office suspending his business license instead.

Port of Seattle police officer Greg Anderson was suspended after he spoke out against enforcing what he called "tyrannical orders" imposed amid coronavirus lockdowns.

Kentucky mother-of-seven, Mary Sabbatino, found herself under investigation for alleged child abuse after breaking social distancing rules at a bank. After a social worker from child protective services determined there was no sign of abuse, he still sought to investigate why the Sabbatino's are homeschooling, and how they can give "adequate attention to that many children."

Dallas salon owner Shelley Luther was sentenced to seven days in jail after she defied the state-mandated stay-at-home orders to reopen her business.
