GLENN: Last night on Bill O'Reilly, what's his name, one of the more despicable human beings alive, I think the

STU: Alan Grayson?

GLENN: No. I said one of, not the.

STU: Not the? Okay, I'm sorry.

GLENN: A guy who is just so far out of step with the mainstream and so angry and bitter and

STU: Alan Grayson?

GLENN: No, he's the.

STU: Oh, okay.

PAT: This guy might be second.

GLENN: I think maybe, maybe.

PAT: Any other ideas? Who might be second, most despicable?

GLENN: Well, almost everybody on MSNBC.

PAT: Well, that's true.

STU: Someone who works for Alan Grayson?

PAT: Well, kind of.

GLENN: Bill Maher. Bill Maher.

PAT: I think his employer might be Beelzebub actually, it might be.

GLENN: HBO?

PAT: No.

GLENN: Oh, the one that actually

PAT: Yeah.

GLENN: Okay. Here's Bill Maher on O'Reilly last night.

Bill Maher on O'Reilly

'Real Time' host spars with O'Reilly over Obama's troubles, conservatives and political extremism

MAHER: There really isn't extremism on both sides. That's a canard.

O'REILLY: There's isn't? There is no extremism on the left?

MAHER: There's not that much extrem There is some but not nothing to talk about. Not really. There's no movement.

PAT: Oh. That's a canard. I chortle over the canard that there's extremism pointing to the left. Show me how we chortle together over that?

GLENN: Yes, yes. Yes. Extremism?

PAT: What?

GLENN: I was just talking about, to my friends at the New party just the other day about the lack of extremism.

PAT: I was blogging at CP USA last night...

GLENN: Okay. Here is a story from NZpatriot.com, a story I don't think you are going to find any place else. On September 24th, about 20 FBI agents spent most of the day searching the Logan Square residence of Chicago activist Stephanie Weiner and her husband Joseph Losbaker, this according to the Chicago Tribune.

STU: Is there no there's no relation to Weiner Weiner, right? Like when you said

GLENN: I think all Weiners are a Weiner is a Weiner.

STU: The Weiner, you know, the Weiner, the Goldline Weiner guy, Weinerfacts.com. Weinerfacts.com, that guy, that's not would Weinerfacts.com cover this Weiner? I think they would. They may.

GLENN: No.

PAT: Should cover all Weiners, shouldn't it?

STU: This is Weiner based information.

GLENN: This really doesn't, this one doesn't play the Bill Maher thing again? What did he say? Bill Maher, I love it, toast points.

MAHER: There really isn't extremism on both sides. That's a canard.

O'REILLY: There's isn't? There is no extremism on the left?

MAHER: There's not that much extrem There is some but not nothing to talk about. Not really. There's no movement.

GLENN: All right. So anyway, there's no movement here, and this extremism really isn't worth talking about, and that's why the press isn't talking about it. The FBI agent spent most of the day searching the Logan Square residence of the Chicago activist. In 1998 the duo worked as leaders of the Chicago New Party.

STU: I've heard of them.

GLENN: You have?

STU: Yeah, I remember

GLENN: Why would you?

STU: In one particular incidence.

PAT: Remember.

STU: There was a guy who was endorsed by them and worked closely with them.

GLENN: Yeah, yeah.

STU: In a town, the second city?

GLENN: Yeah, they're progressives, progressives in Chicago.

STU: Oh, Chicago? Yeah, it was Chicago.

GLENN: In Chicago, and the New Party there was, well, one of the guys who was, you know, part of the New Party was okay, sure, it was Barack Obama. But also they were endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America.

STU: That's interesting.

GLENN: So we have the Democratic Socialists of America, and they were the ones that really got Project Vote together. Project Vote, wait a minute. That was Barack Obama, too.

STU: Yeah.

GLENN: Yeah.

PAT: Hmmm.

GLENN: Anyway, they're just

STU: No movement.

GLENN: The FBI just spent the day with them because there was some there were some problems there with the completely unorganized, no really anything to see here or to talk about here. There's no real problem at all.

STU: No, and there's

GLENN: It's just the FBI.

STU: There's no organized effort I mean, you know, there's not like there's groups named A LF and ELF. Like those groups don't exist obviously.

PAT: There's no rioting at G8 or G20 meetings.

STU: No. And it's not like in Europe there were 39 time the amount of terrorist attacks from the leftwing than the rightwing.

PAT: From the left. I mean, that's a canard.

STU: What a canard that was.

GLENN: What a toast point. The New Party is an electoral alliance dedicated to electing leftist candidates to office, usually through the Democratic Party. It was dissolved in 1998. The three organizations formed the backbone of the New Party, the Democratic Socialists of America, the U.S.' largest Marxist organization; ACORN, radical labor union; SEIU were also involved. But also heavily involved was, oh, the Communist Party USA.

PAT: Hmmm.

GLENN: So it's not like there is an organization you know what's really weird? Do you have the guy from the Communications Worker of America, the labor union for the broadcast industry, CWA? Here's the vice president, and he said some really interesting things. There's really nothing. But again, listen to Bill Maher, there's really nothing to talk about. That is a canard. I want you to listen carefully to what the labor union of CWA said about what's happening this weekend in Washington. In Washington they have the 10/2/10 march, and I urge you to watch it. I'm urging Fox I don't know if they will, but I'm urging Fox, please cover this rally. Cover it. It's more important they didn't cover 8/28. I mean, they covered it as news. I mean run the whole thing. Cover this rally. Americans need to see it and hear it and listen to it. But you're going to you have to listen with different ears. You cannot be like the press and the left was. The press and the left did not understand the language of what was being said on the stage. That's why Time magazine reported that Glenn Beck didn't have anything to say. He called all these people together and then he didn't have anything to say. Because they don't understand the language of God. They don't understand the language of hope, faith, of real charity. They don't get that. They don't understand the language of the heartland of America and so they dismiss it. You don't understand the message of Madison, Wisconsin. You need to learn it. You don't understand the language of the New Party. You need to learn it. The language of the Democratic Socialists of America, you need to learn it. Because I guarantee things will be said that we will dismiss that shouldn't be dismissed. It's a different language. Listen to how this has been spun. Here is the labor union vice president of the communications workers of America.

VOICE: One nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all are words that we recite when we recite the "Pledge of Allegiance" to our flag. Those are not just words, however. They are ideals that the American people have lived by since the creation of this country. They are ideals that for too long now have been attacked by the antigovernment crazies and the Sarah Palins and the Glenn Becks and the racists and the haters of this country and the people of this country. And the One Nation movement is a movement that has now decided that we should bring together coalitions that have not existed since the 1960s in this country, coalitions that when they existed, changed this country. And we are going to change this country again. We are going to do that because the majority of people in this country do not believe in the haters, do not believe in the antigovernment crazies, do not believe in the tea party, do not believe in the Glenn Becks, do not believe in the Sarah Palins.

GLENN: Okay. One more thing. America is at a crossroads, and you have to vote. But more importantly, you have to decide I've been saying this for two years. If you didn't believe me before, please, if I have an ounce of credibility with you, please, I'm begging you, rent the movie Gandhi today. Please watch it over the weekend. Please go to your church and listen to the spirit. Be a life preserver. Put on the armor of God. You must have it. If you think that this is just a rally and it's no big deal, it's just labor unions and let me give you this: This is coming now from Danny Glover: I'm proud and excited to be part of One Nation Working Together, exciting news, says the organizers of One Nation. That is the event that's happening this weekend. We are thrilled that Danny Glover will be participating.

Now, so you know, Danny Glover, we know that he is a leftist, right? But how left? You know you remember in 2004 he endorsed the anti Bush team protest at the Republican National Convention in New York. It was organized by Not In Our Name, an organization closely associated with anticapitalism and Maoist revolutionaries and the Communist Party. Four years ago Maoist revolutionaries sounded like a joke. That is who is in our White House administration: Maoist revolutionaries.

He is also a good friend of Hugo Chavez, he also signed a statement circulated by the Partisan Defense Committee calling for the release of convicted killer Mumia Abu Jamal who, by the way, serves on the national executive committee for the National Lawyers Guild. Glover also joined with a bunch of other people initiating a group called Progressives For Obama.

Do you see the layers of the onion? First, the first layer is they are Democrats. Now, the next layer that you have to get through is they are just liberals. The next layer is they are progressives. The next layer on that one is they're socialists. Then they're communists. Then they're Maoists. Then they're revolutionaries. I don't know if we've gotten to the center. But you must not it is what the progressives or the liberals, as we used to call them, do. They cover their identity. They change words to make them correct and politically correct, politically acceptable. It is an old communist trick. It's time to stop playing that game, period. You break, break with the system and spit yourself out of the system. You must be totally different. And do not play the game that they are expecting you to play. If you do these things and you vote and you unite, look at who they're uniting with. All kinds of people. If you don't stand together, if they allow to separate us, they have the structure now in place and they have Cass Sunstein who will do it. Mark my words, he will do it. They will shut this place down tighter than a drum. It takes the majority of Americans standing arm in arm and knowing who they are through education, knowing who they are, knowing who we are, knowing what our Constitution says. Not being sheep, not being afraid, not being afraid to lose everything financially, not being afraid to lose your own life. But you stand there linked arm in arm in peace, and you will win. I promise you.

Sen. Ted Cruz: NOBODY should be afraid of Trump's Supreme Court justice pick

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) joined Glenn Beck on the radio program Wednesday to weigh in on President Donald Trump's potential Supreme Court nominees and talk about his timely new book, "One Vote Away: How a Single Supreme Court Seat Can Change History."

Sen. Cruz argued that, while Congressional Democrats are outraged over President Trump's chance at a third court appointment, no one on either side should be afraid of a Supreme Court justice being appointed if it's done according to the founding documents. That's why it's crucial that the GOP fills the vacant seat with a true constitutionalist.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) joined Glenn Beck on the radio program Wednesday to talk about why he believes President Donald Trump will nominate Judge Amy Coney Barrett to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death.

Lee, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee that will consider and vote on the nominee, also weighed in on another Supreme Court contender: Judge Barbara Lagoa. Lee said he would not be comfortable confirming Lagoa without learning more about her history as it pertains to upholding the U.S. Constitution.

This week on the Glenn Beck Podcast, Glenn spoke with Vox co-founder Matthew Yglesias about his new book, "One Billion Americans: The Case for Thinking Bigger."

Matthew and Glenn agree that, while conservatives and liberals may disagree on a lot, we're not as far apart as some make it seem. If we truly want America to continue doing great things, we must spend less time fighting amongst ourselves.

'A convenient boogeyman for misinformation artists': Why is the New York Times defending George Soros?

Image source: Simon Dawson/Bloomberg via Getty Images

On the "Glenn Beck Radio Program" Tuesday, Glenn discussed the details of a recent New York Times article that claims left-wing billionaire financier George Soros "has become a convenient boogeyman for misinformation artists who have falsely claimed that he funds spontaneous Black Lives Matter protests as well as antifa, the decentralized and largely online, far-left activist network that opposes President Trump."

The Times article followed last week's bizarre Fox News segment in which former House Speaker Newt Gingrich appeared to be censored for criticizing Soros (read more here). The article also labeled Glenn a "conspiracy theorist" for his tweet supporting Gingrich.
