GLENN: I want to play this union leader in New York on a local radio show talking about -- and this is the union leader for --

PAT: Teamsters. Teamsters president.

GLENN: Talking about this weekends rally, and I want to you listen to what he is saying here. Listen carefully.

PAT: It's going to be hard to get all the way through, by the way, there's a lot here.

The wage earners have lost at least 10 percent while one percent of our population has earned -- not earned, but has 25 percent of the income. That's what this fight is over, 25 percent of the income belongs to 1 percent of the population.

PAT: But they pay 40 percent of the tax load. They might have 25 percent of the wealth, but they pay 40 percent of the bill.

GLENN: I don't think you need to shout about it.

PAT: I think I do, because they're not getting it. They're not getting it.

GLENN: They're not paying their fair share, Pat.

PAT: What is their fair share is if it's not 40, Glenn? 100? Should I go back to Barack Obama's father said?

GLENN: Yes.

PAT: 100 percent is not too much.

You don't have to worry about Barack Obama's father. FDR said it as well.

GLENN: Okay, all right. I'm with you.

PAT: It's a progressive thing.

GLENN: Just got to accept it.

People need to wake up and figure which side of the battle is on, there's the have and have nots, and there are more have nots than haves.

PAT: Listen to the class warfare.

GLENN: There are haves and have nots, this is what this is all about. Haves, and have nots. This isn't about the Constitution. This isn't about the American system, this is the haves and have nots. Hm. All right, go on.

8.28.10: The Documentary

This is our first full-length documentary and it’s going to blow you away. It’s an exclusive inside look at the making of the 8-28 Rally. When we say exclusive, we mean it. From the time Glenn arrived in Washington DC to the time he took the stage our cameras were rolling. You will not believe what went on behind the scenes. Learn more...

VOICE: What kind of support do you think is coming from around the country? Do you think people are on this one nation march?

VOICE: I think people are enthused about just doing something for Democrats and for working people, I think we're going to have a tremendous turnout. I don't want to give a number and then come under that number, but I think we're going to be pleasantly surprised at enthusiasm and the people participating because here in New York it was really tough to secure buses. So if you don't have a bus going down to Washington by this time, you'd better find somebody who has empty seats because you're not going to be able to rent a bus in New York City.

GLENN: Stop for a second, I think this is really -- I think this is absolutely true. The Huffington Post is organizing for these rallies, the Huffington Post is, I mean, with the John Stewart rally, Ariana Huffington bragged about how she was sending down buses. Can you imagine? Can you imagine, if fox news would have organized buses? Can you imagine what would have been said? Imagine that.

So you have Ariana Huffington doing it, you have all of the unions doing it, you have people subsidizing it. Tonight I am going to reveal, tonight, who is paying for all of this. Besides the unions, who is paying for all of the structure? You remember all the questions? Who is paying what? Who is making money? Where is everything coming from? On mine? Has anybody asked that question? We did. You will not believe who is paying for it.

Am I wrong? You know, you weren't in the meeting.

PAT: I wasn't in the meeting.

GLENN oh. Oh, oh. Oh you won't believe who is paying for this. Tonight at 5 o'clock. So you have all of these things. If there's not 2 million people down on the mall, it's a stunning and staggering failure. Remember, how many people did they have for inauguration?

PAT: I think 1.2. 1.3.

GLENN: No, no, no. No. No, silly rabbit. Silly rabbit, they didn't have 1.3, they had 6 million.

PAT: Did they?

GLENN: Then they had 4 million. Then they had 3 million, then they had 1.3.

PAT: Yeah, I think --

GLENN: 1.3 million.

PAT: I think it started actually at 3, I don't know that they ever said 6. I think it started at 3. And went to 2-5, it went to 2, it went to 1-7 and then I think it wound up around 1-3, or maybe 700,000 or whatever.

GLENN: Right. But we only had 87,000 people there. If you watch the media, it will be over a million people. It will be, guaranteed over a million people. And if it's not 2 million, by the media estimates, it's a failure. So.

Are people just coming like -- we told people under threat, under threat, remember, the rally was going to be nothing but a hate rally. How many people didn't come because they were afraid. Because the panthers said we will see Glenn Beck down at the mall. There were two counter rallies that the government allowed to happen on the back of our rally and the side of our rally. And they were both antagonistic.

So how many people were suppressed, but how many people just came in their own car, bought their own bus ticket, bought their own plane ticket, there was no union organizing. They weren't forced to go. But then again, this local radio show host asks the teamsters union guy here in New York, this question about the union members.

-- doing this because they have to or want to?

My members are doing it for both reasons. They have to, and they want to. They're ready for a fight.

PAT: They have to.

GLENN: And they want to.

PAT: Sure. Sure.

GLENN: And they're ready for a fight.

STU: I love how during 8-28 the media spent how much time going around and looking for individual signs, things that were hateful, that they could never find. Are they going to do the same thing at this rally? I'd like to know if there's going to be media people down there searching and looking for the --

GLENN: There won't be hateful signs. There will be signs that have been manufactured.

STU: There will be a lot of those.

GLENN: When you see who is paying for this, this is so well financed, it will boggle your mind.

STU: I'd like to know if they're going to be asking them questions to try to lead them into --

GLENN: There will be union printed signs -- oh you're saying the media be trying to trick them?

STU: Because we had report after report after report from people going to 8-28 who got questions like that, and of course didn't fall into the traps. I'd like to see if that's going to happen on the other side.

GLENN: Okay.

STU: Are you dismissing me? That was your -- I'm being -- Gandhi is here, Pat, and --

PAT: The answer is --

STU: And I'm being too nasty by asking the media to do their job.

GLENN: No, no. The answer is no, they're not going to be there, they're not going to do that. No.

PAT: It's too obvious a question.

GLENN: They're not going to but I want you to watch it. I want you -- I hope Fox carries it. I want you to watch it. But I want you to watch it with different ears and eyes, I want you to see the people in the crowd, and I want you to listen to what the people are saying on stage, and I want you to hear it. But listen with different eyes and ears. Listen for the things that -- and maybe -- maybe you're going to be surprised, maybe I'm going to be surprised.

Maybe, you know, you can get the 30 biggest Marxist communist and revolutionary groups in the country together, along with the -- what is it, Meche?

PAT: Mecha? Yeah, La Raza.

GLENN: La raza some of the most nasty take America and give it to the Mexicans groups, along with the groups that are calling for the destruction of America, calling for reparations of America, calling for the radicalization based on sex, color, globalization.

I don't know what you say on the stage that rings true with the heartland, but this is what they'll be trying to do.

I want you, though, to listen with ears that the media couldn't listen with back in during the 8-28. We spoke in terms of God. They will, as well. Believe me, they will. They are trying to recreate 8-28. 8-28 put them on the offense.

Along with the tea party, which I have nothing to do with. Sarah Palin and the Tea Party and the grassroots effort that are not connect at all to 8-28, that was pushing them up against a wall. 8-28, they realized, holy cow, this is dangerous. Because all they are, all they are is good at cobbling together coalitions. But -- of violence, usually, for them.

What we're doing is, from their playbook, except it's not violent. And it's not really even from their play book it's from George Whitfield's play book. And they know, an awakening changes the game.

And so they try to -- what they're going to try to do this weekend I think is going to confuse you on -- well, which one is this. This looks the same this is sounding the same. I think.

Now, I don't know how you get the communists and everybody else together and you give a speech that is peaceful and kind and has, you know, that whole feel to it, with Danny Glover on stage, a Chavez fan, but they will attempt to do that.

But that's why they will have to cloak their language and they will have to speak in terms of revolution -- in revolutionary terms that the average American doesn't understand. When we heard yes, we can. Yes, we can, yes, we can, the average American didn't understand what that meant.

What does that phrase mean? That was from the farm workers. It is a communist, it is a chant from the Communist Party.

You look for the slogans and you write them down. And if you know somebody who is a really, really, really liberal Marxist left, you know, that's cleansed themselves, watch it with them.

I'd love to watch this with David Horowitz, quite frankly, and have him point out aha, this, this, this, this, you see what's happening here? Because he be able to -- this needs a play by play. You know, can you get ahold of David Horowitz? Let's see if we can do that on Insider Extreme. Let's carry this with a play-by-play with radicals that know exactly what this is. So people can understand what's happening.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe none of that is going to happen. I'm not expecting violence I'm not expecting anything. I'm expecting a very well orchestrated, very well moneyed, very, very well attended event. Huge. Huge.

The difference is one nation working together, that is theirs.

If you want to call 8-28, give it a name besides Restoring Honor I guess, you could say it was one nation under God.

On the radio program Monday, Glenn Beck blasted the Democrats — and anyone else on the left — who have been so eager to open our southern U.S. border for the past several months, but also willing to turn a blind eye to the Cuban people in need of help today.

"While we are welcoming people from any country, all over the world, without any kind of information, and setting them into our country, putting them on American planes paid for by American taxpayers," Glenn began. "And our Coast Guard Cutters are turning these [Cuban] people away. Shame on you! Shame on you!"

Glenn said that he's "sick and tired" of hearing about "brave" leftist activists like Colin Kaepernick, who protest the America flag while wearing Che Guevara and Fidel Castro t-shirts. Meanwhile, the Cuban people are risking their lives by taking to the sea to escape their oppressive regime and come to America.

"Anybody who glorifies Che doesn't know their ass from their elbow. You can't call them a human rights activist. You're protesting the American flag, because you so deeply believe in the right to be free? And yet, you wear a Che T-shirt?" Glenn said.

Glenn went on to argue that, even though the left has "bastardized" the meaning of our country, he still believes America is the best nation on Earth. In fact, he'd give up his citizenship "in a heartbeat" if another country could prove to be better, more noble, and more free. But no other nation exists like ours, he said, which is why it's so imperative we fight for freedom here, in Cuba, and around the world.

There's a new "reality" spreading, and the mere act of questioning it has become incredibly dangerous, Wall Street Journal investigative journalist Abigail Shrier told Glenn on the most recent episode of "The Glenn Beck Podcast."

Shrier's book, "Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters," exposes the radical gender activism that — like critical race theory — has overtaken our children's schools and culture. But even worse, she warned, it could end your parental rights for good.

Shrier made it clear she is by no means "anti-trans," but simply speaking up against the extremes of this new "reality" has made her enemy No. 1 to many activists. Her book has been bashed so hard by the Left that Target has stopped selling it twice, Amazon once banned ads for it, and the American Booksellers Association even called sending it to others "a serious, violent incident."

In the clip below, Shrier explained why she believes "there may be no hope for the public school system."

"You have teachers behaving like activists across the country who have no interest in actually teaching. They believe their job is to remake your child," she asserted. "We're seeing so much evidence of that, I think it's fair to say that it may be too deeply rooted in the ideology being taught in public school. I'm not sure that the public school system is redeemable at this point."

What is actually in Texas' new GOP-led voting bill? Nearly every Texas House Democrat fled the state to block its passage, calling it racist and oppressive, and President Joe Biden backed them as well.

But Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) joined Glenn Beck on the radio program Friday to set the record straight and call out the lies: All of these claims are "completely false." He also explained his promise to "arrest" the Texas House Democrats when they return to the Lone Star State.

"What is in the bill is completely different than what they're saying, what Kamala Harris is saying, what President Biden is saying. What's in the bill actually increases the number of hours that people have to vote in the state of Texas. In the state of Texas, we have at least 12 days of early voting, and we are adding hours to those days. And on top of that, we are giving people time off from work to be able to vote. Bottom line, we're making it easier to vote in the state of Texas," Gov Abbott explained.

"In comparison, Delaware — the state that President Biden votes in — has exactly zero hours of early voting," he added. "That said, there is one thing that we're doing in the state of Texas, and that is we're making sure we tighten the reins on mail-in ballots that can lead to voter fraud. And it's not me saying that. It's a federal judge, appointed by Barack Obama, in Corpus Christi, Texas, who wrote in a legal opinion that voter fraud occurs, quote, in abundance as it concerns mail-in ballots. We know. Texans know. There is fraud in mail-in ballots in the state of Texas. It must be fixed. That's one thing we're trying to do. That being said, all these claims that we're denying people the right to vote and yada, yada, yada, are completely false."

Abbott went on to discuss the much-debated voter ID laws in Texas and to explain why Democrats insist on calling basic voter ID requirements "racist."

"When Democrats do not have truth on their side, they resort to one single word and that is 'racism' ... Texas implemented voter ID almost a decade ago, and when we went through that fight, what word did they use? Racism," he said. "Guess what? After Texas imposed voter ID requirements in the state of Texas, there have been more people voting and more people of color who went to vote. Voting didn't get harder. It got easier and more abundant in the state of Texas. And so, once again, Democrats have absolutely no legal standing, other than to say, 'racism.'"

Glenn asked Gov. Abbott to explain his pledge to "arrest" the Democratic lawmakers that fled once they return to Texas.

"Let me explain how this works. So, whenever there is a break of quorum, which is what is happening now — meaning there is not a sufficient number of people who are showing up to the Texas House of Representatives for the Texas House to engage in business. Whenever there's a quorum break like that, the House issues what's called a 'call on the House.' And when that happens, the sergeant-at-arms is authorized to work with the Texas Department of Public Safety, to — you can call it arrest, apprehend, whatever you want to call it — any of the members who are not in the Texas House of Representatives and bring them to the Texas House where they will be 'cabined' with no ability to leave the Texas House chamber, without a permission slip from the speaker."

Our Fourth Amendment, which protects our right to privacy, has never been in more danger. Journalist Lara Logan joined Glenn Beck on the radio program Thursday to explain how the digital world has given leaders — both in government and corporations — the ability to not only spy on Americans, but to track their patterns of behavior, too.

Lara explained why, even if you think you have nothing to hide, you should be very concerned. Because these digital "human terrain maps" could be used to manipulate you in any way those in control see fit.

"The purpose of your privacy is much more than just being out of public view," Lara said. "There is really nothing that's more central to our democracy than the right to privacy. I mean, all of the rights in the Constitution have a real purpose, and a real value, and if we allow people to take them away from us, we voluntarily are surrendering that. We are lambs to the slaughter.

"They're not just looking at what you have to hide. They're looking to manipulate you into doing what they want. These are control systems. That's what they are," Lara explained. "What they do with the information is they create a 'human terrain map' for every single person on the planet, anyone within a digital signature or within their reach. They are creating a human terrain map that can be used against you, by anyone."
