Glenn Beck: Obama continues attacks on Chamber

The Blaze: Heckling From AIDS Activists Irritates Obama During Boston Rally

GLENN: Let's go to, let's go back to the president this weekend. He's a little upset. He's saying that the Republicans are desperate and it's the same old politics of the past because they haven't allowed anything to be passed. I don't know how that works when you have the majority you have everything you need and then when you can't get your own people, you send, you know, knuckles in to be, "I think the president ought to be listening just a little bit to what I'm saying." I mean, how is you you practically had the mob, you know, mob rule means something a little different I think with this administration. But you've gotten everything you've wanted against the American people and you don't need the Republicans. The Republicans have been worthless. They haven't even been able to mount a campaign. I mean, who's stopping you? It's not the Republicans. If anyone, it is the American people.

PAT: And what are they stopping?

GLENN: Nothing.

PAT: Is it this tax cut for the middle class? Because there hasn't been a bill introduced.

GLENN: You get a kick out of these people who say introduce a bill. Why introduce a bill when you're not going to pass it anyway, when you can just blame it on somebody else? I get a kick out of people like that.

PAT: You pretend you introduced the bill.

GLENN: I love this, it's so I love it.

PAT: Obstructionist, the party of no. I get a kick out of that.

GLENN: So let's go to, let's go to Barack Obama over the weekend.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: They want to roll back Wall Street reform so that taxpayers are on the hook for Wall Street bailouts and credit card companies can hit you with hidden fees and penalties. And if they win in congress, they will cut AIDS funding right here in the United States of America and all across the world.

PAT: And all across the world.

GLENN: Listen to this. Listen to this. Stop.

PAT: All across the world.

GLENN: And this, could you play the what was the, from "Star Wars", Episode 1.

PAT: Oh, yeah.

GLENN: Listen to this and then play that. Play that again. Listen to what he's saying. Listen to what they're cheering. Listen to what he is saying and then listen to their reaction. Listen.

PADMÉ: So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause.

GLENN: I mean, that is incredible. That's exactly what happened in Star all right. Yoda, are you around? I mean, it is, it is really truly amazing. Credit card he says they're going to put if they get elected, they are going to make sure that they can charge you more on your credit cards. Who is for that? Who's for that? Is there anybody in the room? Is there anybody here that's for that? I don't know a soul that's for that. br>

PPAT: Credit card fees? No.

GLENN: Credit card fees? I'm for credit card fees. Credit cards should make money. Credit card fees where they can just change it on you at any time without any kind of rules are

PAT: Nobody's for that. br>

GLENN: Nobody's for that.

PAT: Nobody. Democrats, Republicans, nobody's for that.

GLENN: Nobody's for that. Atheists, religious people? Satanists I don't think are for that.

PAT: I don't think so.

GLENN: I don't know because I don't know any Satanists, or at least that's what I'd have you believe (laughing evilly).

Anyway, so we have the thunderous applause of that. You want to talk about Lemmings, wow.

PAT: And, hello. $50 billion to Africa for AIDS during the Bush years? Every single, every single address he made, he was talking about more money going to Africa for AIDS.

STU: We talked about the story that outlined that. It was from a liberal news organization that outlined, it's the most money that had ever been dedicated to any disease in history.

GLENN: Right. By George W. Bush.

STU: George W. Bush.

GLENN: So I mean, here's the thing. Yes, cuts are coming. Cuts are coming in absolutely everything. Absolutely everything is coming.

Sen. Ted Cruz: NOBODY should be afraid of Trump's Supreme Court justice pick

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) joined Glenn Beck on the radio program Wednesday to weigh in on President Donald Trump's potential Supreme Court nominees and talk about his timely new book, "One Vote Away: How a Single Supreme Court Seat Can Change History."

Sen. Cruz argued that, while Congressional Democrats are outraged over President Trump's chance at a third court appointment, no one on either side should be afraid of a Supreme Court justice being appointed if it's done according to the founding documents. That's why it's crucial that the GOP fills the vacant seat with a true constitutionalist.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) joined Glenn Beck on the radio program Wednesday to talk about why he believes President Donald Trump will nominate Judge Amy Coney Barrett to fill the Supreme Court vacancy created by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death.

Lee, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee that will consider and vote on the nominee, also weighed in on another Supreme Court contender: Judge Barbara Lagoa. Lee said he would not be comfortable confirming Lagoa without learning more about her history as it pertains to upholding the U.S. Constitution.

This week on the Glenn Beck Podcast, Glenn spoke with Vox co-founder Matthew Yglesias about his new book, "One Billion Americans: The Case for Thinking Bigger."

Matthew and Glenn agree that, while conservatives and liberals may disagree on a lot, we're not as far apart as some make it seem. If we truly want America to continue doing great things, we must spend less time fighting amongst ourselves.

'A convenient boogeyman for misinformation artists': Why is the New York Times defending George Soros?

Image source: Simon Dawson/Bloomberg via Getty Images

On the "Glenn Beck Radio Program" Tuesday, Glenn discussed the details of a recent New York Times article that claims left-wing billionaire financier George Soros "has become a convenient boogeyman for misinformation artists who have falsely claimed that he funds spontaneous Black Lives Matter protests as well as antifa, the decentralized and largely online, far-left activist network that opposes President Trump."

The Times article followed last week's bizarre Fox News segment in which former House Speaker Newt Gingrich appeared to be censored for criticizing Soros (read more here). The article also labeled Glenn a "conspiracy theorist" for his tweet supporting Gingrich.
